🚨BREAKING: Florida is shutting down specialized taxpayer-funded Islamic prayer facilities inside Orlando International Airport.

After an investigation, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier confirmed the state has ordered the closure of the gender-separated prayer rooms that included ablution areas, qibla (direction to Mecca) indicators, and other features tailored specifically for Muslim worship.

Critics had described the setup — built with public funds — as effectively turning part of the airport into a mosque. The Attorney General’s office stated the facilities have been shut down.

Orlando International Airport has said the specific rooms in question have been removed, while noting it will continue to offer a general interfaith chapel for travelers of all faiths.
