Basallo playing hurt and probably giving us like a .650 OPS for 4 months is WAY worse than giving him a couple weeks to rest and treat and getting him at full force .800+ OPS for 3.5 months

Maybe hot take, but if you aren't on Samuel Basallo's side in this playing through pain bs, you are wrong

This feels like some generational nonsense, trust that the older side is USUALLY wrong

A short IL stint is always preferable to a handicap

It's a little rich griping about analytics when we were just swept by the now 33-15 first place Rays, literally the most analytically-minded team in baseball

The issue isnt analytics, the issue is that OUR analytics sucks 😕

So basically, we are getting LUCKY with our bad, but not horrendous, record

The Orioles have a -48 run differential, good for last (tied with SFG) in baseball

There is an argument to be made that they are the worst team in baseball.

Floating in no-mans land of just rebuilt so can't rebuild, but not really close to contending

What a bummer.
