Cleave says this (remember, having blocked me the day he announced his conversion) even while I'm quoting classic Protestant authors. Remember that the definition of Sola Scriptura is that Scripture is of itself sufficient to bind us as to what to accept as the Doctrine of Christ/Divine Revelation. Cleave states that this is at odds with Protestant confessions:

V. Too many people hold modern evangelical extremes up as the definition of protestantism, which makes any meaningful discourse impossible.
