@Rahll I just took 2 English language CEFR tests online at C2 level just to see if my own assumptions for 35+ years were correct.

All the questions I got wrong were actually mistakes in the test, not my error.

Probably tests created by AI or by non-proficient linguists

Duolingo laid off a huge percentage of their contract translators, and the remaining ones are simply reviewing AI translations to make sure they're 'acceptable'. This is the world we're creating. Removing the humanity from how we learn to connect with humanity.

@GrammarTable I know September of 2024 has not happened yet, but in the given sentence, my brain just thinks 2025. Even though, the “next” or one coming up next is for 2024, I still think “this September” for this year rather than “next September”.
