@RealBobTheDog@BradleyIngram24 They were affected by having to play against 22-24 year olds! The very reason they deserve to play as 21-22 years olds. You don’t understand all the dynamics bobthedog. Rolling my eyes.
@Benthall47James@keenanlandry0 They had to compete against 22-24 year olds due to ncaa rules because of Covid. It left fewer recruitment spots due to holding over older players. The ncaa decided athletes can play 5 in 5 except they excluded class of 2022 even though age wise they qualify. It is & was wrong!
@CoachSwit Exactly what my grandson had to do! Class of 2022 because of Covid and ncaa decisions gets screwed on both ends of this. Hence the lawsuits! I support the student athletes class of 2022!
@WLKY@ameinersWLKY Exactly. My grandson is one of “them”! His college had a roster spot for him and he’s back for a fifth year. Due to NCAA’s COVID rules 2022 athletes had to compete against 5th and 6th year players. Now it’s their turn! Poor decision ncaa that why you are losing all the lawsuits!
@NCAA_PR Your attorneys screwed. You screwed the class of 2022 with your Covid rules which allowed older more experienced players to remain playing. Then you screw the class again by excluding them in 5-5! You created this mess & your battle is uphill boys! Restitution is your concern!
@EddyFurniss They know this. Thats why they are pushing the fed government to regulate! What about the football players class of 2022 that have gone back to their respective colleges to lay this season? They already started camp!
@Booger42069@JonRothstein Not in this case. The ncaa does not have even a mediocre reason. They know it. Thats why they are pressuring the college protection bill.
@Booger42069@JonRothstein Sweeney will not grant a stay to them. Their argument is stouts and moot after sweeney’s clarificstion. A stay by her would amount to admitting she erred in her decision. Extremely unlikely. 10th will not approve a stay. NCAA has no grounds. They are looking like bullies!
@JonRothstein It will be impossible for the NCAA to be granted a stay of the federal temp injunction. Their only argument is it will cause chaos in the portal. Judge Sweeney clarified that point so their argument went down the drain. BOOM!
@JessPreusser@TexasTrialGroup@CharlieBakerMA You do NOT have the truth behind you! The class of 2021 would not come within the age guidelines BUT class of 2023 does. The NCAA arbitrarily & capriciously omitted the class of 2022. Many hard working attorneys are working pro bono. You don’t know what you are talking about.
@EddyFurniss The NCAA’s argument is the temp injunction will create chaos in the portal. Judge’s clarification fixed that so zero chance of NCAA prevailing in this case!! Pack it up boys!
