Wow, Ken Burns is crystal clear on the period ahead of us. “[this] brings me to a moment I’ve dreaded and forces me to suspend my long standing attempt at neutrality…do not be seduced by easy equalization…we are at an existential crossroads in our political and civic lives.”
"She's one of the biggest players in the world right now. But she doesn't act like that. She's just like 'help me'."
This story is so sweet. Erica Wheeler and Caitlin Clark will be trying for the same starting spot this season. But Wheeler, a 10-year WNBA vet has taken Caitlin under her wing, and tried to be the first one to welcome her to the team.
On a personal note: as a kid who started at a new school when I was in 7th grade, this sentiment resonates a whole lot. I've never forgotten the first people who made me feel welcome, and were kind to me.
"I'm very lucky to be going to an organization that really loves women's basketball."
Caitlin Clark talks about her excitement to be coming to Indy and reflects on having Tamika Catchings call one her games in college.
Dreams just came true for the @IndianaFever and all of downtown Indianapolis: Iowa’s Caitlin Clark is turning pro after this season. She’ll be here this summer.
This changes everything around here. For the franchise, and for our city. https://t.co/NMGy2bFhbQ
Greta & Margot,
While it can sting to win the box office but not take home the gold, your millions of fans love you.
You’re both so much more than Kenough.

I’m 100% here for Taylor Swift being named TIME’s Person of the Year because of how much it clearly pisses off insecure men who find it unthinkable that a public figure adored this much by young women could be so undeniably powerful.
