Eleanor Donaldson was paid a redundancy package after losing her job as senior secretary to her paedophile MP husband after being charged with aiding and abetting his child sex crimes, The Irish News understands.

Ms Donaldson worked as a senior secretary to her husband, now convicted child rapist and former DUP leader Jeffrey Donaldson, since at least 2010 until after the pair had been arrested and charged with historical offences.
