"Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that." In 2015, I had the honor of meeting MLK III. He wrote a children’s book titled, “My Daddy”. This book continues to inspire my students every year!
We're investing to convert Eastern Kentucky’s Starfire coal mine into an 800 MW solar farm in collaboration with @nature_org and site developer BrightNight. As we accelerate the transition to EVs, it’s critical to partner on responsible ways to power them. https://t.co/KxsxgoxE1e
@ReneeKET@KyTonightKET@KET Q2: Are teachers in other districts required to participate in extra duties each week such as bus duty where they spend 2 hours (or more) supervising students due to a bus driver shortage?
@ReneeKET@KyTonightKET@KET Q1: Are teachers in other districts responsible for all 3 tiers of interventions because the district doesn’t have interventionists? If so, is this a factor that could be contributing to more teachers leaving the profession?
@spencerideas This can be applied to school-wide assemblies throughout the school year. Often students and teachers are criticized for not singing and dancing along with others when they prefer to watch instead.

There’s too many hoops to jump through in ed, and most don’t lead to improvement. In fact, I would argue that it leads to the opposite. Spending time doing things that don’t lead to improved teaching and learning should be removed to allow time to focus on what matters most!
Join us on Monday, March 21 at 9/8 pm on KET when @ReneeKET hosts a discussion with Kentucky educators who share their classroom experiences since the COVID-19 outbreak and how they're addressing mental health concerns among their peers and students. https://t.co/ZgKIjQiQSi
