All I can say is that if you work for the PPA you’re actually scum of the earth. I don’t know who would accept that job that induces so much suffering on people just trying to park in their neighborhood
I am so lucky that I married a person who knows how to exist in public because I literally do not know how to speak to people and she always picks up my social slack
@PhilaParking I do not understand why I got a parking ticket while parked in a 2hr parking spot marked 8am-6:30pm. I was given a ticket at 8:30 am only 30 minutes into my 2 hr parking window with no additional temporary no parking signs in sight.

Just sitting outside with my singular tea light candle minding my own business and I look down at the candle and there’s a ROACH sitting by it like it’s a freaking campfire!
Sometimes my job is so scary because I work on the road and in between clients I have to complete documentation from my car. The amount of people that confront me and become angry about me sitting in a public space is unreal. I’m always scared they’ll become aggressive.
Radical kindness is something I am striving to practice and moments like these are a reminder of how far I need to go to achieve it. People deserve grace.
Suddenly it’s a Sunday night. your wife sits cross legged on the floor writing a book while you catch up on reading you’ve put off for a year. Your cats cuddled in, one by each of you. This may not be the meaning of life, but it’s the meaning of your life. You’re lucky to know it
