I'm John and I run Anglian Parks and Wildlife, a parks & wildlife consultancy based in Norwich, Norfolk and do lots of other stuff too, especially photography.
I've recently had a craft fair stall to sell some of my images. I now have some images available as digital download, prints, mounts, canvases etc on #etsyuk with a good discount. Do you have a look and see what you think. Any feedback gratefully received. https://t.co/D4yGxL4RFf
Does anyone know which longhorn beetle (cerambycidae) species this is? I can't get it to key out. I was thinking Alosterna but not convinced. #cerambycidae#longhorn#beetle
I've been a member of @WKWT for 34 yrs, often working closely with it professionally & an an amateur recorder to support it, generating much reserve data. Just been told I need permission to continue insect recording (I already had it) & must fill out RA paperwork for EACH visit.
Psychoda are tiny (3-4mm) true flies (Diptera) known as Drain flies or Moth flies. I was finding plenty of these yesterday under bits of deadwood, presumably overwintering queens?

@GeoffWilkinso19 When I think of bird dropping mimics I always think of the chinese character moth (Cilix glaucata). Not just the colouring but also the way it sits.
