@FigCyber @mnolangray The UK didn't require US airsupport in 2011. we did utilise US air refuelling aircraft, mainly because it was easier to maintain tempo at that scale. we have an airbase literally next to Libya and deployed HMS Ocean.

we have bases in Canada, Belize, Bermuda, Falklands, in the Americas alone.

a state w a population of maybe 4m people will obviously have a richer/higher per capita wealth then a nation of 70m with varying degrees of poverty and inequality.
