My Swedish friends called me and asked what these Eritrean women are doing? I won't be calling my friends for the next few weeks, hoping they'll forget their question, because I don't know what to answer. Another email why are they partying like that?
Lawlessness is the de facto rule of law in #Eritrea. No constitutional Rule of Law. No political process. NO ELECTION in the entire 35 years of statehood. Coercion and fear are instilled in the population, whose livelihoods are completely controlled by the rogue regime of tyrant isias.

What is he talking about , Eritrea has not held national elections since 1993, has not implemented its ratified constitution, has no independent parliament, and restricts political opposition, independent media, and civil society no university, more than 369 prisons . Is he joking or what 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️

🟦 #BlueRevolution | #Eritrea vs #Ethiopia: Two Nations, Two Destinies
For over three decades Ethiopia has held regular multiparty elections since 1995 with succesful leadership transitions and a functioning electoral system. Eritrea on the other hand remains trapped under Isaias Afwerki’s one-man dictatorship since 1993 with no national elections no parliament and no accountability to the people.
The Eritrean #BlueRevolution Front #EBRF as the political force of the #BlueRevolution is advancing a credible diplomatic and political roadmap for democratic regime change. We are building broad opposition unity engaging international partners in key capitals and mobilizing the Eritrean people and diaspora to restore sovereignty and dignity.
The #Eritrean people demand the fundamental right to choose their leaders. The future of #Eritrea belongs to its people not to one man and one party.

While Ethiopians vote today, Eritreans have never had a single real election since independence. One dictator for 35 years is not leadership it’s dictatorship. The world must see the difference and support the Eritrean struggle for democracy.

Eritrea's Unhappy Birthday - debunking #PFDJ myth
Today marks the 35th anniversary of Eritrea's independence, and the way it's celebrated by some but only marked by others in Diaspora laid bare the controversy over the three decades abject failure of its Legacy.
We, in #EBRF, recognise and affirm the actions many Eritrean communities are taking to boycott PFDJ; support the people's cause for Freedom and democratizing #Eritrea through #RegimeChangeinEritrea
#35 years have passed, but for #Eritreans the struggle for freedom is not over. Behind every prison wall, every family separation, every journey into exile, and every life lost, there is a dream that still refuses to die.
This is why #EBRF continues to fight not for power, but for justice, dignity, freedom, and a future where #Eritreans no longer have to live in fear or be forced to leave their homeland.
Because true freedom is not just independence. True freedom is when the people finally have a voice, rights, and peace in their own country. 💙

May 24 is no longer a historical anniversary. Mirror reflects #Eritrea unresolved struggle between:
■ liberation and authoritarianism,
■nationalism and human rights,
state sovereignty and citizen freedom,
■revolutionary legacy and democratic aspirations.

@phelemawi@POTUS@WhiteHouse@StateDept@DeputySecState Independence without justice, democracy, constitutional rule, or human dignity becomes a hollow victory. A regime that silences journalists, imprisons dissenters, and drives its youth into exile cannot claim to embody liberation.People are still waiting for freedom.#EBRF
On Eritrea’s 35th Independence Day, the #PFDJ regime floods its channels with claims of a sweeping congratulatory message from @POTUS. Yet no such message appears on the @WhiteHouse website, while the U.S. State Department @StateDept@DeputySecState
issued its own measured statement through @SecRubio
This is not diplomacy. It is domestic theater designed to manufacture legitimacy while the regime peddles illusions of sanctions relief and Red Sea partnerships that serve only its survival.
True independence cannot be staged. It must be reclaimed by a people who refuse to let one party and its affiliates treat the nation as private property. The #Eritrean #BlueRevolution Front stands for the sovereignty of the people, not the propaganda of the powerful.
#Eritrea #EBRF #TrueIndependence @KjetilTronvoll@mrubin1971@_hudsonc@TheEconomist@washingtonpost@pressfreedom@afric_insde@TheAfricaReport
The #PFDJ and its supporters often remind us that they won the armed struggle and won Eritrea. They are half right. They won the battle against external occupation. But they have not won Eritrea for its people.
Instead they have converted that hard won victory into a system where the nation belongs to the party its inner circle and those who pledge loyalty.
On this Independence Day we must ask the hardest question. If the state exists primarily to preserve the power of those who already hold it what exactly was liberated in 1991?
The #Eritrean #BlueRevolution Front exists to complete the unfinished project of liberation through organized political struggle for a democratic transfer of power to the Eritrean people. The battle was won. Eritrea has yet to be. #Eritrea #EBRF #TrueIndependence @KjetilTronvoll@mrubin1971@_hudsonc@TheEconomist@washingtonpost@pressfreedom@afric_insde@TheAfricaReport
As reports circulate of potential shifts in U.S. policy toward Eritrea including sanctions considerations tied to Red Sea dynamics the #PFDJ regime will present any engagement as validation of its rule. The international community must not confuse tactical interests with endorsement of a system that has denied its people basic rights for decades.
The #Eritrean #BlueRevolution Front offers a clear alternative. We call for principled engagement with Eritrea that prioritizes the aspirations of its citizens supports a peaceful and orderly transition and rejects the normalization of authoritarian capture.
We urge democratic governments diaspora communities and all who value genuine sovereignty to engage the organized voice of the Eritrean people not merely the regime that claims to speak in their name. Real change begins when the world listens to those who have never stopped fighting for it. #Eritrea #EBRF #TrueIndependence @KjetilTronvoll@mrubin1971@_hudsonc@TheEconomist@washingtonpost@pressfreedom@afric_insde@TheAfricaReport
