The Virginia Supreme Court ruled 4-3 that Democrats in the legislature violated the state constitution's mandatory rules for proposing amendments. They must pass in two separate sessions with a general election in between. That didn't happen.

There were also misleading claims about what the amendment would do, stealthy efforts to ensure it had minimal public awareness, and misleading wording on the ballot to conceal its true nature.

What a shame, because gerrymandering Blacks into their own ghettoized districts is great for Democrats. And while everyone knows Dems take the Black vote for granted, it's clear the party's agenda is finely tuned to benefit them.
