It is an interesting idea but even more interesting is the UHPC material. This material, with its extremely high temperature resistance in combination with high strength values, is far too bad to be used as a fire wall below value.

Absolutely, I also have no idea why sitting on a staircase is better for thinking, holding meetings, etc.
I have tried it on the stairs in my house. The result was that I was constantly distracted by people using the stairs to get up or down a floor.

I believe that the raw materials on Mars are not the real problem for building materials, but the processing in extreme environmental conditions such as the very different temperatures from -68C / -81°F to +20°C / 68°F.
