@TofteMichael @kristopherGphil not sure re: NY prices, but i’d guess $140-$180/hour. half sleeve would likely be more 2+ sessions, each session being 3-4 hours. i haven’t gotten any color, but color will take more time (& $$). my black/grey thigh, forearm, & bicep tattoos took 1.5-2 hrs, were $300-$500 each

@TofteMichael @kristopherGphil fwiw, look for artists that also post a lot of *healed* pics—not just freshly done ones. Also, look at the lines in both fresh & healed pics; bad sign if the lines are wobbly. try finding artists whose style you like. re: rates—good tattoos aren’t cheap, cheap tattoos aren’t good
