When I can do a lot to influence the outcome, I'm less worried about risk. Even if the choice appears risky on the surface, I can likely create a good outcome with effort.

When I can't do much to influence the outcome, I'm more risk averse. Even my best effort won't move the needle. Your ability to influence the outcome after a decision is made is a crucial thing to consider.

this morning one of our most important Amazon listings, a Jiu Jitsu backpack, was taken down for being a pesticide 🤦‍♂️

the appeal process takes 5-7 days, at which point we'll of course have missed the busiest week of the year.

hard to say if it's a blackhat attack or an algorithm gone wild, but this is the sort of thing that is maddening about selling on Amazon.

we pay them millions of dollars a year in selling fees and advertising. any other company would give us at least some sort of point of contact to take care of stuff like this. with Amazon it's just a total black hole of overseas seller support cases. any help would be much appreciated @amznsellerhelp @dharmeshmehta
