I may be bent but I got to be strong to not be broken. You might knock me down for the time being but one thing I know that I have to keep moving forward with my eyes on the prize. I lost a battle not the war.
Mayor Hopkins tried to plant a seed of division in our City to justify his plan.
He said Cranston West residents do not care about Budlong Pool. He considered the 2,000 + signatures petition unimportant.
I will not take the bait. I urge Cranston East residents to do the same.
The Mayor’s Pool plan is a BAD PLAN
3 lanes for lap swimming.
Only 6 people can do lap swimming.
no option for teens 15-17 year old.
no option for young adults from 18-40.
no option for adults 40-60.
no option for seniors.
I firmly oppose this plan.

Despite my regular requests for updates about Budlong Pool, Mayor Hopkins has refused to share credible facts with the Council. Cranston residents stepped up. We discovered that Budlong Pool could have been repaired two years ago for approximately $ 90,000. Want to know Why?
No child should go hungry. Ending childhood hunger should be a priority for all of us if we want better social, emotional, behavioral and academic outcomes. I was glad to join my friend @MRanglinVassell for the 3rd Annual End Global Childhood Hunger walk today. Please donate!
Please come join us to march for Haiti’s relief this Sunday July 9th from 12pm to 3pm to demand Accountability, Peace and stability for the nation.

There’s been countless activities across the country celebrating the LGBTQIA + community. I hope it’s not only an opportunity to take and post pictures for a day or a month but our work transpires true inclusion and acceptance of this community.
