@shreyas Depends on what their theme is.
Is it aligned with companies value and principles?
Can they commit to work?
If they are not aligned to this role. Can they be a good fit for another role?
Basically, can it be a win win situation. If yes, it is a positive outlook.
@shreyas@webiyo@jspujji This is so true, when I look at the friends who did not have enough, I feel both privileged and lucky. But when I see my hardship when I had to pick food vs rent, I wasn't privileged or lucky.
But you are right, the more I grow, I find myself lucky in every sense of life.
@MaryAnnKoruth@USCIS@SenatorMenendez@USCISDirector This is so cute! You are an immigration reporter and don't know that this is the reality of millions of Indians in the USA. I hope you start covering some of those stories.
Personally, this is the 7th year that I have seen my parents or family due to visa issues.
@CongressmanRaja I couldn't sleep yesterday night after reading her comments, those were hurtful and insulting.
Can we do a GoFundMe and sue her? This apology doesn't mean anything and even calling us under privilege. We don't need help and advocacy from people like Ms Melinda.
@markrussinovich They hired a bunch of new recruiters who just sent these emails before even looking at profiles of people. Amazon is getting worse for talent.
@David_J_Bier Not everyone is still aware. I was asking my direct report to reach out to HR to get his GC process started, he said " he is not worried as he has 5 more years on H1B". I couldn't tell him that every month he delays will add decades to his wait time.
@PabloReports We haven't seen my parents and extended family for 7 years now, due to H1B issues. We were finally were going to India in May 2020(canceled due to covid). I will take any option which allows us to visit aging parents without risk of job and getting stuck in India.
@PabloReports I am surprised how no one said @SenatorDurbin, he pretends to be champion of immigration, but blocks anything which can improve immigration.
