I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the Leadership Academy Magnet at @MullerRoad Middle School this week.
More than I thought I would, honestly.
I'm really excited for my son to have this program as an option.
A journalist being well-respected and having a career of longevity does not mean that they can not be wrong.
The two concepts are not mutually exclusive.
My mom is having the TIME OF HER LIFE at the #DNC as a SC delegate. I am immensely proud of her for being a woman over 50 doing something for herself, enjoying this experience and taking on newness of a 3rd career. A woman who lives a life of service, finally serving herself.

Do you see how when you are qualified for the job, your past experiences bring tangible benefits to the new role immediately ??
Side note: I know nothing about this man but this video, I look forward to learning more about Governor Walz.

@FlavorFlav being the, "put your money where your mouth is" champion for women's sports was not on my 2024 bingo card but I'm rolling with Mr. Drayton because wow! What a way to use your influence.
Public libraries have been serving communities in the U.S. since 1790, but in the age of e-books, libraries across the country have had to develop innovative ways to stay relevant by providing helpful resources for their communities.
"We have always been in the business of making people's lives better," says Richland Library @accessfreely Executive Director Melanie Huggins. "I think that is the history of public libraries across the globe." More from @CBSNews➡️ https://t.co/2Um6xdH42h
Not only is the feed for the #NBA finals extremely blurry from @espn in their app and via @hulu, (terrible viewing experience) there's also just no way I believe this broadcast is passing any type of accessibility standards 😅 my goodness
This #GivingTuesday I implore you to share your resources with The Hive. The Hive provides an indelible impact of support to the most impacted yet severely underserved survivors: women of color.

This week, we tragically lost my cousin and tomorrow we will lay him to rest.
In loving memory of my cousin, Nicholas Joshua Cobb, my aunt has established a fund to support Black males struggling with their mental health:
This fund will be directed toward the following:
-Preventing suicide, particularly among Black males and youth, by providing clinically- informed effective practical strategies.
Mental illness can be terminal but it doesn't have to be.
If you are in crisis or experiencing thoughts of self-harm, please call 988.
