𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲'𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲?

Port led development provides enormous potential for economic development of the successor State of Andhra Pradesh. With this consciousness, the YSRCP Government ensured commendable progress with respect to development of three ports at Ramayapatnam, Machilipatnam and Mulapeta. The YSRCP Government ensured completion of all the crucial tasks such as land procurement, statutory approvals including financial closure, with respect to all three ports. The YSRCP Government also executed the EPC contracts for completion of the projects and also ensured significant physical progress with respect to the three ports before June, 2024.

Some of the examples of economic development that are completely attributable to the Ramayapatnam port demonstrating significant progress are the BPCL’s upcoming greenfield refinery and petrochemical complex and Indosol Solar’s Giga Scale manufacturing plant. The BPCL plant is in close proximity to the port with a refining capacity of 9-12 MMTPA and an estimated investment of over Rs. 1 lakh crore, capitalizing on the port’s deep water capabilities to import crude oil. The Indosol facility is designed as a fully integrated "quartz-to-module" ecosystem and for the project, proximity to the deep-water Ramayapatnam Port is crucial for importing raw materials and exporting the final finished solar modules efficiently. Further JSW Steel is developing two berths in Ramayapatnam port, and the primary purpose of which is handling bulk raw materials such as iron ore and coking coal, needed for the integrated steel plant that JSW Steel is constructing in the YSR Kadapa district. All these projects contribute immensely in generating employment to thousands of individuals and also in increasing State's own revenues.

While there so many economic advantages associated possible from the development of Ramayapatnam port, both in terms of securing investments to the State and also contributing significantly to the Tax and Non-tax revenues of the State Government, all that the TDP Government can think of is, the means to turn the Ramayapatnam port into a scam to generate cash flows for the bigwigs of the TDP. The TDP Government is offering a port on which, the Government is spending Rs. 4,929 crores against an upfront payment of only Rs. 1,500 crores by private parties, causing significant loss to the State exchequer, with the State Government having to endure the debt servicing burden to the tune of over Rs. 3,500 crores!

గుంటూరు నగరంలో ఒక మహిళను వివస్త్రను చేసి, టీడీపీ నాయకుడు దాడికి పాల్పడిన ఘటన మానవత్వానికే మచ్చ మాత్రమే కాదు.. రాష్ట్రంలో శాంతిభద్రతల నిర్వహణ ఎంత ఘోరంగా విఫలమైందో చెప్పడానికి నిలువెత్తు నిదర్శనం. ఈ దారుణానికి చంద్రబాబు ప్రభుత్వం సిగ్గుతో తలదించుకోవాలి.

బుధవారం ఘటన జరిగితే.. మూడు రోజులపాటు దాన్ని కప్పిపెట్టినా, చివరకు ఆ వీడియోలు సోషల్‌మీడియాలో బయటకు వచ్చి, రాష్ట్ర ప్రజలంతా చూసి ఈ పరిపాలనను అసహ్యించుకున్న తర్వాత, ఇప్పుడు తానేదో గొప్పగా చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నట్లు చంద్రబాబుగారు హడావుడి చేయడం మరింత సిగ్గుచేటు.

ఆ వీడియోలు కప్పిపుచ్చేదానిపై శ్రద్ధచూపే బదులు, బుధవారమే తనపై తొలిసారే దాడి జరిగిన తర్వాత, బాధిత మహిళ వెంటనే పోలీసులకు ఫిర్యాదు చేసినప్పుడు వారు స్పందించి ఉండి ఉంటేగనక, ఆ తర్వాత ఇంతటి ఘోరం జరిగి ఉండేది కాదుకదా? ఆమె ఫిర్యాదుపై వెంటనే కేసు నమోదు చేసి, నిందితులను అదుపులోకి తీసుకుని ఉంటే ఈ దారుణం జరిగేదా? ఫిర్యాదు చేసిన మహిళకు రక్షణ కల్పించకుండా మౌనం వహించడం ఎంతవరకు న్యాయం? ఇక పోలీస్‌స్టేషన్లు ఉన్నది ఎందుకు? బాధితుల ఫిర్యాదులను స్వీకరించడానికా? లేక అధికార పార్టీ నాయకులు ఏంచెప్తే అది చేయడానికా? బాధితురాలికి అండగా నిలవకపోగా, పంచాయితీ చేయడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తారా? వీడియోలు బయటకు వస్తేనే చట్టం మేల్కొంటుందా? బాధితురాలి మాటకు, ఆమె ఫిర్యాదుకు విలువ లేదా? నేరం జరుగుతున్నప్పుడు స్పందించకుండా, ప్రజల్లో ఆగ్రహం పెల్లుబికిన తర్వాత చర్యల పేరుతో నాటకాలు ఆడడం ఏ రకమైన పోలీసింగ్‌?

రెడ్‌బుక్‌ రాజ్యాంగం పేరుతో ప్రతిపక్ష నాయకులు, కార్యకర్తలు, సోషల్‌మీడియా యాక్టివిస్టులపై ఈ చంద్రబాబుగారి ప్రభుత్వం దగ్గరుండి దాడులను ప్రోత్సహించింది. ఆ అరాచకాలను కప్పిపుచ్చడానికి పోలీసు వ్యవస్థను రాజకీయ ఆయుధంగా మార్చింది. చట్టాన్ని అధికార పార్టీకి చుట్టంగా, ప్రతిపక్షాలపైనా, బాధితులపైనా వేధింపులకు, అక్రమ కేసులకు ఒక సాధనంగా మార్చి రాష్ట్రాన్ని జంగిల్‌రాజ్‌గా దిగజార్చింది.

అధికార పార్టీ నాయకులు ఏం చేసినా ఈ పోలీసులు తమను రక్షిస్తారనే ధైర్యం ఈ రెడ్‌బుక్‌పాలనలో గ్రామాలు, వార్డులు, డివిజన్ల స్థాయి వరకూ పాకింది. అందుకే టీడీపీ కూటమికి చెందిన పలువురు నాయకులు దుశ్శాసనుల్లా తయారయ్యారు. ఎలాంటి దారుణాలుచేసినా, ముఖ్యంగా మహిళలపై దాడి చేసినా, వారిని అవమానించినా, వేధించినా తమకు ఏమీ కాదని, తమను కాపాడ్డానికి చంద్రబాబుగారు ఉన్నారనే ధైర్యం, వారిలో పెరిగిపోయింది. ఇది చివరకు రాష్ట్రంలో ఆడవాళ్లకు రక్షణ లేకుండా చేసింది. అధికార పార్టీ నాయకుల దురాగతాల నుంచి తమను తాము కాపాడుకోవాల్సిన దుస్థితిలోకి మహిళలను నెట్టేసింది. చంద్రబాబుగారూ… ఇదేనా మీరు చెప్పే మహిళా భద్రత? ఇదేనా మీ సుపరిపాలన? ఇదేనా మీ పోలీసింగ్‌? @ncbn గారూ, మహిళల ఆగ్రహమే మీ ప్రభుత్వానికి తగిన బుద్ధిచెప్తుంది.

మా పార్టీ సీనియర్‌ నాయకులు, నాకు పితృసమానులైన ముద్రగడ పద్మనాభంగారి మరణవార్త నన్ను తీవ్రంగా కలచివేసింది.

ఇటీవల అనారోగ్యానికి గురైన ఆయన క్రమంగా కోలుకుంటున్నారనే వార్త మాకు ఎంతో ధైర్యాన్నిచ్చింది. సంపూర్ణ ఆరోగ్యంతో తిరిగి మన మధ్యకు వస్తారని ఆశిస్తున్న సమయంలోనే ఆయన ఇలా శాశ్వతంగా దూరం కావడం అత్యంత బాధాకరం.

ఐదు దశాబ్దాల సుదీర్ఘ రాజకీయ ప్రస్థానంలో ఎంపీగా, మంత్రిగా, ఎమ్మెల్యేగా ప్రజలకు చిరస్మరణీయమైన సేవలందించిన ముద్రగడగారు విలువలకు కట్టుబడి రాజకీయాలు చేశారు. పదవులకన్నా ప్రజలనే గొప్పగా భావించారు. తన జీవితాంతం పేదల బతుకుల్లో మార్పు కోసం తపించారు.

ముఖ్యంగా కాపు సామాజికవర్గానికి పెద్దదిక్కుగా నిలిచి, వారి సంక్షేమం కోసం అలుపెరగని పోరాటం చేశారు. తాను నమ్మిన మాటకు కట్టుబడి నిలబడే తత్వం, మంచికోసం ఎంతదూరమైనా వెళ్లే ధైర్యం ఆయన సొంతం. ఆత్మగౌరవానికి, నిజాయితీకి, వ్యక్తిత్వానికి ఆయన నిలువెత్తు రూపం.
ముద్రగడగారి మరణం ఆయన కుటుంబానికే కాదు.. వైయస్సార్‌ కాంగ్రెస్‌ పార్టీకి, ఆయనను అభిమానించే లక్షలాది మందికి తీరని లోటు.

ఈ విషాద సమయంలో ఆయన కుటుంబసభ్యులకు ధైర్యాన్ని ప్రసాదించాలని, ముద్రగడగారి ఆత్మకు శాంతి చేకూరాలని భగవంతుణ్ని మనస్ఫూర్తిగా ప్రార్థిస్తున్నాను. వైయస్సార్‌ కాంగ్రెస్‌ పార్టీ తరఫున ముద్రగడగారికి ఘనంగా నివాళులు అర్పిస్తున్నాను.

చంద్రబాబు దుష్ట పాలనలో అత్యంత ప్రమాదకర ధోరణిలో పోలీసు యంత్రాంగం

@ncbn గారూ... రాజకీయ అణచివేత చర్యలకోసం, ప్రశ్నించేవారి గొంతు నొక్కడానికి ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లో మీరు పోలీస్‌ వ్యవస్థను అత్యంత ప్రమాదకర ధోరణివైపు నడిపిస్తున్నారు. మీ పాలనలో పుట్టుకొచ్చిన దుష్టసంప్రదాయాలతో మీరు రాష్ట్రంలో ప్రతిచోటా విషపు విత్తనాలు నాటారు, అవి క్రమంగా మొక్కలై విషవృక్షాలుగా మారుతున్నాయి. చిన్నారులు మిస్సింగ్‌ అయినా దర్యాప్తుపై వేగం లేదు. మహిళలపై నేరాలకు సంబంధించి ఫిర్యాదులు నమోదు కాకపోయినా కదలిక లేదు. గిరిజన మహిళను వివస్త్రచేసి, దాడి చేసినా అరెస్టులు లేవు. కానీ సోషల్‌ మీడియాలో ప్రభుత్వాన్ని ప్రశ్నిస్తే మాత్రం కేసులు, అరెస్టులు, చిత్రహింసలు, నాన్‌బెయిలబుల్‌ సెక్షన్లు పెడతారా?

కాకినాడ జిల్లా తుని నియోజకవర్గానికి చెందిన చిన్నారి జ్ఞానేశ్వరి కనిపించకుండా పోయి 30 రోజులు దాటిపోయింది. ఇప్పటికీ ఆ పాప ఆచూకీ లేదు. తన కూతురు ఫొటోలు పట్టుకుని ఆ తండ్రి వీధివీధి తిరుగుతున్నాడు. పాప తల్లి ఆ బాధ తట్టుకోలేక తీవ్ర అనారోగ్యానికి గురైంది. ఒక చిన్నారి ఆచూకీ కనుగొనడంలోనే ప్రభుత్వం విఫలమైతే ఇక ప్రజల భద్రతకు భరోసా ఎలా ఇవ్వగలుగుతారు?

ఇంకో ఘటనలో ఇదే కాకినాడ జిల్లా పెద్దాపురంలో మానసిక దివ్యాంగురాలైన బాలికపై లైంగిక దాడి ఘటనపై కేసు నమోదుకు నానా తాత్సారం చేసి, నిందితులతో కుమ్మక్కు అయితే ఇక ఈ రాష్ట్రంలో పాలన ఎక్కడుంది?

పొట్టిశ్రీరాములు నెల్లూరు జిల్లా కావలిలో టీడీపీ మాజీ కౌన్సిలర్‌ గిరిజన మహిళను వివస్త్రను చేసి దాడి చేశారన్న ఘటన రాష్ట్రాన్ని కుదిపేసింది. ఇలాంటి దారుణ ఘటనలో, తాత్సారం చేసిన వారం రోజుల తర్వాత ఫిర్యాదు తీసుకోవడం ఒక పెద్ద తప్పు అయితే ఇప్పటివరకు ఎవరినీ అరెస్టు చేయకపోవడం మరింత దారుణం. పైగా బాధితులపైనే ఎదురు కేసు పెట్టడం చూస్తే, నేరస్తులకు రక్షణ, బాధితులకు వేధింపులు అన్నట్టుగా మీరు పోలీసు వ్యవస్థను నడుపుతున్నారు.

సాయికృష్ణ లాకప్‌డెత్‌, శవం మాయం కేసు రాష్ట్రాన్ని కుదిపేసింది. ఆ తల్లి అడిగిన ప్రశ్నలకు మీ వద్ద ఇప్పటికీ సమాధానాల్లేవు. క్రాంతికుమార్‌ ఆత్మహత్య కేసు, తాను ఇచ్చిన మరణ వాంగ్మూలం, దీన్ని సోషల్‌ మీడియా సాక్షిగా చూసిన ప్రజలు తీవ్రంగా కలతచెందారు. గంగమ్మ, తిరుపతమ్మల లాకప్‌డెత్‌, పోలీసుల వేధింపులతో కళావతి ఆత్మహత్య కేసులు, ఇవన్నీ రాష్ట్రంలో పోలీసు వ్యవస్థకు తీవ్ర తలవంపులు తెచ్చాయి. అయినా, మీ బరితెగింపునకు కట్టడి లేదు.

వీటన్నింటి నుంచి ప్రజల దృష్టిని మళ్లించడానికి రోజుకో డైవర్షన్‌ పాలిటిక్స్‌ చేస్తున్నారు. సోషల్‌ మీడియా యాక్టివిస్టులపై వాటికి సంబంధించిన సెక్షన్లతో కాకుండా, బెయిల్‌ రాని సెక్షన్లు పెట్టాలని, కేసులను వ్య‌వ‌స్థీకృత నేరాల‌కు లింక్‌ చేయాలంటూ ఒక ఆర్గనైజ్డ్‌ క్రిమినల్‌ మాదిరిగా మీరే, ప్రతి స్టేషన్‌ హౌస్‌ ఆఫీసర్‌కు ఈ ఆదేశాలు చేరేలా, పోలీసుల‌కు హుకుం జారీ చేసిన‌ట్లుగా స‌మాచారం వ‌స్తోంది. ఇది అత్యంత ప్రమాదకరమైన ధోరణి. ప్రజల ప్రశ్నలకు సమాధానం చెప్పలేక, భయపెట్టాలనుకోవడం ప్రజాస్వామ్యాన్ని ఖూనీ చేయడమే అవుతుంది.

యూట్యూబ్‌ ఇన్‌ఫ్లూయెన్సర్‌, ఉస్మానియా గోల్డ్‌మెడల్‌ జర్నలిస్ట్‌ కేవీఆర్‌ను సరైన చట్ట ప్రక్రియలు పాటించకుండా హైదరాబాద్‌ నుంచి భారీ పోలీసు బలగాలతో తీసుకురావడం, అతను చేయని వాటిని చేసినట్టుగా ఎఫ్‌ఐఆర్‌లో పెట్టి, జైలుకు పంపడం అత్యంత దుర్మార్గం.

యూట్యూబర్‌ రావణ్ విషయంలో ఇప్పుడు మీరు పెట్టిన కేసులకు, నాలుగు కోర్టుల్లో బెయిల్స్‌ వచ్చినా, అహంకారంతో చెలరేగిపోతూ, నేరుగా సంబంధిత పోలీస్‌స్టేషన్లపై త‌మ వారి చేత దాడులు చేయించారు. అసహనంతో తీవ్రవాదులపై పెట్టే అభియోగాలు మోపారు. చంద్రబాబుగారూ.., మీరు, పవన్‌కళ్యాణ్‌, లోకేష్‌లు సహా మీ పార్టీ నాయకులు గతంలో, ఇప్పుడుకూడా ఏ మాట్లాడారో, ఏం మాట్లాడుతున్నారో ఇప్పుడు వాళ్లుకూడా అవే మాటలు మాట్లాడుతున్నారు, వాటినే ప్రశ్నిస్తున్నారు. అలాంటప్పుడు మరి అవే అభియోగాలు మీ మీదకూడా పెట్టాలికదా? విమర్శకులను నేరస్తులుగా చిత్రీకరించడం, వారిని చంపడం కోసం పోలీస్‌స్టేషన్ల మీదకు మీవారిని పంపి దాడిచేయించడం, పోలీసులు మౌనం వహించి, ప్రేక్షకు పాత్ర పోషించడం, ఇవన్నీ ప్రజాస్వామ్యానికి ప్రమాదకర సంకేతాలు. ఇది రాజ్యాంగ హక్కులపై దాడి. ఇది ప్రజాస్వామ్య విలువలపై దాడి.

చంద్రబాబుగారూ ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌కు కావాల్సింది రౌడీ పోలీస్‌ రాజ్యం కాదు. జంగిల్‌రాజ్‌ కాదు. ప్రజలకు భద్రత కల్పించే పాలన కావాలి. బాధితులకు న్యాయం చేసే వ్యవస్థ కావాలి. చట్టం ముందు అందరూ సమానమనే నమ్మకం కావాలి. రాజకీయ ఆదేశాలకు కాకుండా, రాజ్యాంగానికి లోబడి నడిచే పోలీస్‌ వ్యవస్థ కావాలి.

అమరావతి పేరుతో మీరు చేస్తున్న దారుణాలకు బలైపోతున్న రైతులకు తోడుగా నిలవడం తప్పు అవుతుందా? భూములు ఇవ్వని వారిని భూసేకరణ నోటీసుల పేరుతో వేధించడం, వారి పొలాలకు వెళ్లే మార్గాలను ధ్వంసం చేయడం, ఈ రైతుల పొలాల్లో అక్రమంగా మట్టి తవ్వి దోపిడీచేస్తున్నారు. ఇంకా దారుణం ఏంటంటే కొండవీటి వాగును నీటిని వారి భూముల్లోకి బలవంతంగా మళ్లించి, గత్యంతరంలేని పరిస్థితులను వారికి కల్పించడం, భూములు ఇవ్వకపోయినా, రిటర్న్‌బుల్‌ ప్లాట్లకింద రైతుల పొలాలను, వారి అనుమతి లేకుండానే రిజిస్ట్రేషన్లు చేయించడం… ఇన్నిరకాలుగా నరకయాతనకు గురిచేస్తుంటే, ఆ బాధలు భరించలేక రైతులు కన్నీరు పెడుతుంటే, వారి గోడు వింటూ వారికి భరోసా ఇచ్చే కార్యక్రమం మేం చేస్తుంటే, మీరు మీ వాళ్లచేత రౌడీయిజం చేయిస్తారా?

అమరావతి పేరుతో ఇప్పటికే వేలాది ఎకరాలు తీసుకున్నారు. ఇంకా ఎందుకు కావాలి? ఎవరి కోసం కావాలి? మీ బినామీలు, మీ నాయకులకు భూములు పంచడానికి తమను నాశనం చేస్తారా? అని రైతులు అడుగుతున్న ప్రశ్నలకు చంద్రబాబు సమాధానం ఇవ్వగలరా?

చంద్రబాబుగారు, ఇవాళ మీ అవినీతి, దోపిడీకోసం రాష్ట్రంలో జంగిల్‌ రాజ్యాన్ని స్థాపించారు. పోలీసులను అడ్డుపెట్టుకుని అధికార దుర్వినియోగంతో మీ పచ్చముఠాలతో స్వైరవిహారం చేయిస్తున్నారు. ప్రజా గొంతుకలను అణచివేస్తూ ప్రజాస్వామ్యాన్ని ఖూనీచేస్తున్నారు. దీనిపై ఇదివరకే మేం చాలాసార్లు హెచ్చరించాం. అయినా మీలో మార్పు రాలేదు సరికదా, రోజురోజుకూ మీ దుర్మార్గాలను రెట్టింపు చేస్తున్నారు. ఇవాళ మీరు మొదలుపెట్టిన ఈ దుష్ట సంప్రదాయానికి, రేపు రెట్టింపు స్పందన ఉంటుంది. ప్రజలు మిమ్మల్ని క్షమించరు. మీ ప్రభుత్వాన్ని కూకటివేళ్లతో పెకలించడం ఖాయం. మీరు చేసే దాడులకు వైయస్సార్‌సీపీ తలవంచదు. అమరావతి పేరుతో రైతులను మీరు పెడుతున్న ఇబ్బందులను, అవినీతి, దోపిడీలను, దౌర్జన్యాన్ని ఎప్పటికప్పుడు మేం ఎండగడతాం. రైతులు, బాధితులు ఎప్పుడూ ఒంటరివాళ్లు కాదు. వారి పక్షాన నిలబడుతూ, వైయస్సార్‌సీపీ వారికి తోడుగా నిలుస్తుంది.

Credit growth to Self Help Groups is vital and is regarded as the lifeblood of rural economy. Credit growth indicates productive investments strengthening the SHGs' income generating ability and contributing to their sustainability.

Declining credit growth indicates lower investment, thereby lower incomes and resultantly lower consumption, clearly indicating the distress.

The negative year-on-year State Government tax revenues growth of 3.22% during FY 2025-26 also evidences this fall in consumption and economic distress.

Interest subvention to SHG loans is vital for promoting SHG credit growth. During the period of the YSRCP Government between 2019-24 the direct support given by the Government to the SHG sector through interest subvention alone is Rs. 4,969 crores. Further YSRCP Government through programmes such as Aasara and cheyutha provided immense support to SHG women enabling them to stand on their feet.

The TDP-JSP have made a commitment in their Manifesto to the effect that, 'The loan limit up to which SHG loans interest subvention scheme is applicable would be increased from Rs. 3 lakhs to Rs. 10 lakhs'.

As usual after assuming power, the TDP alliance hoodwinked the people by ignoring the commitment made. Let alone interest subvention on the increased loan limit, even the existing interest subvention programme has been rendered ineffective with no support whatsoever. Amount under interest subvention released during 2024-25 is 'zero', budgeted for FY 2025-26 is Rs. 100 crores and released is 'zero', budgeted for FY 2026-27 is again Rs. 100 crore and likely release is zero. Even if we assume Rs. 6,00,000 debt with respect to every SHG group, the interest subvention amount in tune with the commitment of TDP can be estimated to be around Rs. 3,000 crores. Therefore, during the first two years of the TDP alliance Government, the amount that the beneficiaries were deprived of is Rs. 6,000 crores.

Owing to the steps taken by YSRCP government, the credit growth to SHGs demonstrated a heathy growth during 2019-24 and the lack of support by the present Government resulted in decline in credit growth from Rs. 49,696 crores in FY 2023-24 to Rs. 41,623 crores in FY 2024-25 and further to Rs. 41,105 crores in FY 2025-26.

Has Andhra Pradesh reached a point where people fear the police most?

Be it custodial death of Gade Sai Krishna, whose body was allegedly cremated secretly by the police or the suicide of Kranti Kumar after accusing police harassment in a selfie video, and a series of similar incidents across Andhra Pradesh are not isolated tragedies. They are the outcome of a dangerous culture fostered under the TDP coalition government's Red Book governance. Today, people are increasingly asking whether the police are functioning under the Indian Constitution or under @ncbn 's Red Book. Fear, not justice, is becoming the defining feature of policing in the state.

From the day the Red Book was unveiled, YSRCP warned that encouraging political vendetta through police harassment would allow the police to take the law into their own hands would corrupt institutions and embolden sections of the police force to operate beyond established laws, rules and constitutional safeguards . That warning has become a painful reality. Political opponents were targeted first. Social media activists followed. Journalists, intellectuals and dissenting voices came next. What began as political persecution has now evolved into a dangerous habit of unchecked policing, where ordinary people too are becoming victims of intimidation, harassment and abuse of authority.

The Sai Krishna case has shaken the conscience of Andhra Pradesh. A grieving mother is still pleading for answers and asking authorities to hand over even her son's ashes if his body cannot be produced. Has such a horrifying situation ever occurred in the state's history?
Kranthi Kumar’s case is equally disturbing. Before taking the extreme step of suicide, he publicly accused the police, naming officer’s sustained harassment. In Tuni, Tirupathamma recorded a selfie video alleging police harassment before ending her life. Kalavathi from Srikakulam district committed suicide due to police harassment. In Kurnool district, Dalit woman Gangamma allegedly died due to police torture during interrogation and was secretly buried with her family seeking a judicial probe into the circumstances surrounding her death. When such incidents occur repeatedly, they cease to be coincidences and begin to reflect a deep troubling pattern.

At the same time, police excesses have become routine. Opposition activists are publicly humiliated and paraded on roads for petty allegations involving the cutting of a hen or a goat. In the name of moral policing, officers are increasingly behaving as judge, jury and executioner. Yet when YSRCP leaders and workers approach police stations with complaints, cases are being ignored or brushed aside. This blatant double standard has severely damaged public confidence in the Police department.

The State DGP, Home Minister, and the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu cannot escape responsibility for this collapse of accountability. Andhra Pradesh deserves governance under Dr BR Ambedkar's Constitution, not Red Book rule. Police are meant to protect rights, uphold the law and serve justice, not function as instruments of political revenge.

The @ncbn government continues to suppress the voices of the people and the opposition. After the takedown of our official Instagram handle earlier this year, the official YSRCP Facebook page has now been made inaccessible in India.

This is not just an attack on YSRCP; it is an attack on democratic values and freedom of expression. We only reveal facts, expose the government’s failures and corrupt practices, and bring to light issues that affect the people. Silencing an opposition party’s official handles, there by opposition voices for speaking the truth sets a dangerous precedent and is most undemocratic.

From cases being filed against those questioning the government on expenditure profligacy associated with Amaravati capital development, irregularities in the DSC process, TTD ghee tenders, and other matters of public importance bringing to light appropriate evidence of rampant corruption, to the restriction of critical content online, a disturbing pattern is emerging.

We will challenge these unfair actions through every legal and constitutional avenue. No intimidation, censorship, or misuse of institutions can silence the voice of the people. We remain committed to holding those in power accountable and defending the fundamental right to freedom of speech and expression.

We demand the immediate restoration of the official page in the interest of democracy and to uphold the constitutional spirit.
