"We were maniacal about recruiting"
In this 3-min clip, @bipulsinha dropped several gems on recruiting:
- For a new startup, talent density is everything.
- Most founders delude themselves that they're hiring a top team. But they're not.
- In his first year of founding Rubrik, he spent 80% of his time recruiting!
- Created a pitch deck to pitch engineers, similar to a pitch deck for customers.
- How did he know he was recruiting top talent? He went after people who would ask him very, very hard questions.
What’s the difference between software and agents:
- Software is created to make humans work faster/better whereas agents actually do the work
- When agents do the work, humans have to manage agents just like junior employees: give clear instructions and have clear accountability
- Don’t micromanage agents, let them cook
Anthropic Mythos Preview is the game-changer we’ve been expecting.
I had a chance to sit down with the WSJ CIO Journal team – Thomas Loftus, Isabelle Bousquette, and Belle Lin – for a timely conversation about how AI is transforming our industry, as we see the incredible power of these new AI models.
A few things are clear:
1) AI-powered attacks have become more sophisticated and faster, targeting data and identity.
2) The security model of prevention and detection that we once knew is now dead.
3) The need for true cyber resilience has never been greater.
At Rubrik, we are using AI to speed response and remediation of attacks, and importantly, to govern, manage, and secure AI agent operations.
The emergence of Mythos is a clear warning: your ability to recover and remediate has to be lightning quick.
Cyber Resilience is the only path forward.

Cybersecurity as we know it is dead.
What killed it?
AI acceleration.
The cybersecurity we once knew, built for humans, cannot survive a time when AI speed is exponentially surpassing human speed.
Now, cybersecurity is at an inflection point.
The old game of prevention and detection is no longer applicable.
The new game is resilience - at AI speed.
Businesses that want to survive in this new era: focus on resilience for the future.
It’s the dawn of a new cybersecurity. Time to wake up to it.
Had a wonderful time at #Cybersparx. @giliraanan and team put together an incredible event once again. Here are 3 takeaways:
1. AI acceleration and cyberattacks are fast racing towards singularity
2. Cybersecurity as we know it is dead
3. Need to reimagine the whole cyber risk management for the agentic work era
Dario Amodei CEO of Anthropic at Davos:
"Some of the companies are essentially led by people who have a scientific background, that's my background, that's Demis' background, some of them are led by the generation of entrepreneurs that did social media.
There's a long tradition of scientists thinking about the effects of the technology they built, of thinking of themselves as having responsibility for the technology they built. Not ducking responsibility.
They are motivated in the first place by creating something for the world. So they worry in the cases that something can go wrong.
I think the motivation of entrepreneurs, particularly the generation of the social media entrepreneurs are very different [...] The way they interacted, you could say manipulated consumers is very different. I think that leads to different attitudes."
"It's very hard to me to see how it could take longer than that" [a few years]
Perceivable acceleration is almost here. Dario Amodei talks openly about how we're nearing the moment when the loop closes and models start to meaningfully speed up AI research.
Outside our bubble, most people have absolutely no idea that we could be just 6 to 12 months away from powerful AI models capable of accelerating progress in a way that resembles a fast takeoff.
Sure, as Dario remarks, there could be physical roadblocks (like chips) that slow things down. But again, it's nearer than most people think, and the majority of the world is living as if nothing is happening.
2026 will be a weird year. Brace yourself for the next generation of models.
We also spoke about what it takes to keep dialogue alive in a world shaped by self-interest and uncertainty. Dialogue is a necessity, not a luxury. When more than 65 heads of state and government come together, the goal is to find common ground, even in difficult times. Of course, we can only bring the horses to the well. We cannot force them to drink the water.
.@richardquest asked me what makes me optimistic. My answer was the economy.
Despite geopolitical turmoil, growth has not stalled. We have debated hard landing, soft landing, and even no landing at all, yet the global economy continues to show resilience. That matters, because stability creates space for cooperation.
We have Davos taking place against the most complicated geopolitical backdrop since 1945. But so far it seems like players have still been able to find ways of continuing business and investment. So 3.2% growth isn’t bad. @TIME https://t.co/nvtz6wYKWw
A new competitive order is taking shape as major powers seek to secure their spheres of interest. In this shifting landscape, where cooperation looks markedly different than it did yesterday, collaborative approaches and the spirit of #dialogue remain essential.

We just trained Helix on new laundry data
One day it does package logistics, the next it learns folding laundry or loading the washer
Millions lack access to basic healthcare, while usable medical supplies are discarded. @Medshare bridges that gap—and my daughter Anjali is raising funds to help.
