Life's too short to be pissed off all the time.
My role as a writer is to speak words that only I can speak, to tell stories that only I can tell, to a world that doesn't yet know it needs to hear what I have to say.
All other goals and plans I have as a writer come secondary to this.
@FuadtheG@butterflykyss No, but that's a moot point. Outback is a retro limited series (aka taking place in the past, before the events of Murewa's series) and Midnight is set in an alt universe where Storm reimagined as a vampire.
Since you asked, introducing Prisma Star. **Disclaimer** I'm just "Fan Casting" and having fun ya'll. Follow @kianamaiart for all the actual Magical Girl series + character lore.
Prisma Star is an enforcer level Guardian and is a no nonsense Magical Girl.
@FuadtheG@butterflykyss She's already in X-Men comics now lol. She's leading the upcoming X-Men Outback series, and she'll be in Midnight X-Men. She's not currently in the main X-Men title (XmM United) but if you think she's just NEVER coming back to the main books you're drunk.
And if wasn't already apparent, I'm a big fan of Kianami's(@kianamai) upcoming animated series entitled, "I don't want to be a Magical Girl". I've been meaning to post some Fan Art so here's my toss in for a potential cast member. Definitely check out the creator's main page
Relaunching a book within four months just so you can cancel it after five issues is nasty work.
How do you treat readers and, more importantly, the creative team like this?
This is why the skin policing like the one that this person is quote tweeting doesn’t add up and shouldn’t be taken as hard rules for artists. Eventually it’s going to imply that someone’s actual complexion doesn’t exist.
