She stopped for a dying dog in the dark!
Just before midnight, on a mountain road during a brutal heatwave, Olfa found a dog who was little more than a skeleton.
Starving. Dehydrated. Barely alive.
Yet Farfoucha still wagged her tail.
Olfa stopped, and that decision saved her life.
Today, Farfoucha is safe in a loving home. But dozens of other animals are still relying on Olfa's compassion every single day.
With around 70 cats and dogs in her care and resources running dangerously low, Olfa is facing one of her greatest challenges yet. Food, veterinary treatment, sterilizations, and emergency care all depend on support from people like you.
Please help us ensure that Olfa can continue saying "yes" to animals with nowhere else to turn.

ELLA DESPERATELY NEED A FOSTER OR FOREVER!
SHE'S MAKING ALL HER FEET BLEED FROM STRESSING SO MUCH IN KENNELS 💔💔
Ella is a retired Hampshire Police Dog who was born December 2020. She had to be retired as she lost her bark! Ella is microchipped and spayed and we are told fully vaccinated. Sadly needs a new home as she is not very children tolerant and Hampshire Police are not interested in taking her back as they say an agreement was signed so not their problem anymore!
Ella is selective with other dogs but has actually improved since being in her new owner since May this year. A no to cats. Fine with adults, including delivery drivers, but has had operational bites during her working time as you would expect. Fine being left with no destruction but she does have an outside kennel. She comes indoors at night and sleeps in a crate.
As you would also expect. Ella is good on lead, recall and has extensive commands, and of course is very toy driven! No issues over food or toys and fine with vets.
Ella was taken into foster with a view to adopt however, sadly her foster mum is unable to commit to her long term due to health issues and feels she needs a ‘stronger’ home. She now lives happily in the house with another dog, so no problems there, and likes a crate for her safe space. Needs further work with not reacting to other dogs when out and about on lead.
Anyone who has Mali experience and wants a fun girl with loads going for her, Ella is definitely for you!
Sharing is caring.

We couldn’t walk away from them. We NEVER WILL!
GRAPHIC WARNING
Five animals. One small Community Care Station. Thousands in emergency vet costs.
Africa arrived with severe infected wounds. Princess was left injured on the roadside with a broken shoulder.
And then there’s Roxy and Morgan…
Roxy is only 8 months old and nearly lost her hoof in a bush-cutter accident. Morgan’s leg was devastated by screwworm maggots that destroyed many of his tendons.
Euthanasia was a possibility.
But Dr. Annie and the team chose to fight for them.
Now every bandage change, every treatment, every day of recovery comes at a cost, and veterinary bills have already exceeded R13,000.
They are still here.
Still healing.
Still fighting.
Please donate today to help provide urgent veterinary care, medication, wound treatment, supplies, and feed.
Because one more chance can mean everything. ❤️🐾

Well done Belgium 🇧🇪.
In late January 2024, Belgium's Parliament voted unanimously to ban the import of hunting trophies from endangered and threatened species. The vote reflected public opinion: 91 percent of Belgians oppose trophy hunting and 88 percent supported the ban.
Belgium's own Environment Minister was candid about the law's limits: "It's a political signal." Import licences could still be issued by other EU countries — and from 2014 to 2022, only around 500 out of 25,000 trophies imported across the EU entered through Belgium.
On December 18, 2025, Belgium's Constitutional Court upheld the law, rejecting a legal challenge and confirming protections for elephants, lions, rhinos, and dozens of other at-risk species. The law now stands on firm legal ground.
At the same time, South Africa — one of the world's largest trophy hunting destinations — has moved in the opposite direction, reopening its doors to trophy hunters as Belgium was closing its own.
An EU-wide import ban has not materialized. The European Parliament called for one in October 2022. Nothing has happened since. Loopholes in existing EU law still allow trophies to enter as "personal items" with the right permits.
Belgium's ban holds. The EU-wide gap does not.

Abandoned, starving dogs FACE MASS KILLING! They survived the war.
Now they risk dying forgotten.
After refugee camps in Tanzania emptied following recent peace agreements, an estimated 2,000 dogs were left behind hungry, unvaccinated, and alone.
These were once family pets. Dogs who comforted children, guarded tents, and stayed loyal through years of hardship.
Now, the fear of rabies is leading to discussions of mass killings.
But there is another way.
Our partner, ADEL, is working urgently to vaccinate, sterilize, treat, and protect these abandoned dogs before fear turns into cruelty.
Your donation can help save lives and support humane solutions.
Please help us replace fear with compassion. 🐾

**A Shelter Full of Cats Is Facing Crisis!📷**
On the streets of Souk El Arbaa, cats are surviving hour by hour.
No shelter. No safety. Just hunger, illness, and the hope that someone comes back tomorrow.
Association Zina walks these streets every day, feeding, medicating, sterilizing, and searching for the ones who didn’t show up. When a cat disappears, it often means it’s too late.
Animals First Aid is stepping in **now** to keep food coming, treatments completed, and suffering from multiplying.
This is not a future crisis.
It’s happening today.
Your support means:
📷 food doesn’t run out
📷 treatment isn’t stopped halfway
📷 another life isn’t lost unseen
Please help us act before it’s too late. 📷📷📷

Indonesia has officially banned elephant riding across the country, delivering a long-sought victory for animal welfare advocates.
The Ministry of Environment and Forestry announced that the ban came into effect in January 2026 via Circular Letter No. 6 of 2025. The directive instructs all zoos, conservation centers, and tourism operators to immediately cease offering elephant rides, with non-compliant facilities risking revocation of their operating licenses.
The move follows years of growing concern over the welfare of elephants used in the tourism industry. According to World Animal Protection, elephants trained for rides are routinely subjected to cruel methods, including bullhooks and extended periods of chaining, which cause both physical injuries and severe psychological trauma. PETA Asia has also reported that these animals are often denied natural behaviors, resulting in chronic suffering and significantly reduced lifespans.
This nationwide ban marks a major step forward for ethical wildlife tourism in Indonesia.
A cyclone changed everything for these animals!
The need is growing. And so are the calls for help.
In Madagascar, Animal SOS has spent nearly 20 years saving animals with nowhere else to go without government support, through every challenge.
Then the cyclones hit.
Animals were left injured, abandoned, and forgotten. But they didn’t stop.
They never do.
From rescuing a dog trapped beneath painful, matted fur… to providing urgent care when no one else will… they keep showing up every single day.
But they can’t do it alone.
Your support today helps provide food, medicine, and lifesaving care where it’s needed most.
Because when the world looks away… we don’t.
Please give if you can. 🐾

Everywhere in the world, humanity has not died, although there are malicious people among us, there are always well-intentioned people who love animals, love nature, love people.
One woman. Dozens of lives saved daily.
Hungry. Injured. Forgotten.
This is the reality for millions of street animals in India… but for some, everything changes because one person refuses to walk away.
Simran is out there every single day - feeding along dangerous roads, treating the injured, and stopping suffering before it begins through sterilization.
And now, with your support, we can stand beside her ❤️
Brownie was just six months old when we found him fighting severe illness. Without help, he would have slipped away unnoticed. But because someone chose to care… he got a second chance.
This is what your support makes possible.
But so many are still waiting.
Please don’t scroll past. Your donation today will help feed hungry animals, provide urgent medical care, and prevent future suffering.

This BBC report from Ukraine reminds the world that animals feel fear, grief, and trauma just as humans do.
But trauma doesn’t only happen in war zones.
Every day, dogs abandoned in townships, cats left injured on streets, starving horses, abused donkeys, and neglected pets carry invisible emotional wounds.
At Animals First Aid, we see it daily.
The shaking dog.
The silent cat.
The animal is too afraid to eat.
The one who no longer trusts human hands.
Healing takes food, shelter, veterinary care, patience, and love.

Well Done Netherlands 🇳🇱.
This is not just about fireworks. It is about a country making a clear choice.
Starting from the New Year period of 2026 to 2027, the Netherlands will ban citizens from buying and using fireworks nationwide. This is not a small change. It shifts a long tradition into something more controlled and safer.
For years, New Year nights in the Netherlands brought chaos. Streets filled with smoke. Emergency rooms crowded with injuries. Fires breaking out in neighborhoods. Police and firefighters stretched to their limits.
But there is another side that often gets ignored.
Animals across the country go into panic during fireworks. Dogs shaking inside homes. Cats hiding under beds for hours. Birds flying into buildings in the dark. Shelters filling with lost pets the next day.
They do not understand celebration. They only feel fear.
This decision is meant to reduce that harm. Citizens will no longer be allowed to buy or set off fireworks. Fewer random explosions in neighborhoods. More control over how celebrations happen.
Professional shows may still take place. But the loud, unpredictable noise in residential areas will be reduced.
This is what change looks like when a government responds to years of pressure from safety experts, emergency workers, and animal welfare concerns.
Less chaos. Less harm. More peace.
And for animals, a quieter night is everything.
