@HPSupport @HPIndia I had purchased it in India and was told it supports global warranty but now that I am here in Australia both teams are passing the buck on to the other. The motherboard stopped working in less than a month!

Never buy a HP laptop! If you buy it in some country and try to repair/replace in a different country that supports 'global warranty', you are in for a shock. 2 weeks of back and forth between the two teams of the respective countries and no solution. @HPIndia @HPAustria
