The enrollment across schools dropped by 11 lakh in 2024-25, shows #UDISE data released by the Education ministry on Thursday. Along with enrollment drop the no of govt and govt aided schools have also seen a drop!

Another finding included- seat distribution was not uniform. In some years the seat reserved for SC/ST showed as zero. In BHU's dept of statistics in last five years out of total 96 seats there were onkh 6 SC and 4 ST candidates.

Not just #IITs #IIMs even central universities have significant chunks of seats alloted for marginalised communitites going vacant. Admission rates of people with disability were appalling. In CUJ there was just one candidate in 1 academic yr.

The #NTA says it has formed a committee to look into the grievances of the compensatory marks given to 1600 students and in 6 centres. States the integrity of the exam was not compromised.
