District level ToT conducted in Zilla Sanskruti Bhawan on 06/08 under Tsunami Preparedness and Implementation of Indian Ocean Tsunami Ready Programme (IOTR). 41 villages (24 of Chandbali & 17 of Basudevpur) will be made Tsunami ready by 15th November, 2021 under the program.

MBPOC in favour of three orphan children and Rs.20,000/- under NFBS have been sanctioned. Sanction of OAP in favour of grand father is under process.

Activities like weighment of children coupled with effective counseling using #MCP (Mother-Child Protection) card, essential for monitoring optimal growth in children are continuing despite closure of Anganwadi Centres.

It is circulated in social media by some that we don't have adequate oxygen. As on date, 33 patients out of 169 admitted in Covid Hospital/CCC are on Oxygen support. We have sufficient Oxygen supply as detailed below: 10 ltr Cylinder- 427, 50 ltr Cylinder-337 & Concentrator-116.

WCD and health workers ensured shifting of around 2100 pregnant women in cyclone districts who were approaching their #DatesofDelivery to hospitals prior to the landfall of #CycloneYaas.

750 babies were born during these two days. Life goes on.

The Govt of India has now changed the minimum period between 1st and 2nd dose for #COVISHIELD vaccine from 42 days (6wks) to 84 days (12wks).
The changes will be effective from midnight of 14th May.
Rquest all to reschedule the online appointment if already booked for 2nd dose.
