CM @DKShivakumar avare please review such stoppage of traffic for VIP movement. Police stop longer than necessary. Please do away with such VIP culture in city . @CPBlr@DgpKarnataka@Nimmabhaskar22 Police are very rude to citizens too and push them around. Citizens should be treated with respect. We are not subjects. I was abused by a SP earlier opp Raj Bhavan some time ago. This bad culture of abuse has to change. @AmitShah

“India is no longer struggling to attract tourists… it is now struggling to handle the crowd.
From mountains to beaches, every tourist destination is packed. People spend more time stuck in traffic than actually enjoying the journey.
This scene from Sikkim’s Zero Point is not an exception anymore it’s becoming the new normal across India.”
In my previous organisation, I calculated, employees travel daily a distance of 15km to work. If an average bike (best case) is used mileage
Is 45km . Which means 3 members consume 1 liter petrol, on one way travel.
Microsoft Hyderabad is said to have over 12,000 employees. With same numbers ( although avg distance for microsoft is well over 10km ) to and from from office
8000 liter petrol daily. By one office.
Stats say, Hyderabad employees around 900,000 people in IT sector. Which is 600,000 liters of petrol. Every day. Saved with WFH. By one city.
Assume entire Indian IT sector is 10 times this number. Which gives 6 MIL liters of petrol everyday.
India consumes 581 M litres of petrol everyday. We are already at 1% of consumption just from one sector.
2.2 BILLION litres of petrol annually
Even if crude + refining + logistics cost India only around ₹70 per litre economically, that is:
₹15,000+ CRORE per year
potentially avoided in fuel import burden from just one sector adopting large-scale WFH.
At an exchange rate of ~₹83/USD, that is close to:
$1.8 BILLION in forex impact annually
from commuting reduction alone.
And this is still conservative:
cars are ignored
traffic inefficiency ignored
longer commutes ignored
induced congestion effects ignored
WFH is not just an HR policy anymore.
At national scale, it becomes an energy, infrastructure and foreign reserve strategy.
Amid global war tensions and rising fuel concerns, should the Government encourage Work From Home for sectors like IT/ITES to save fuel and reduce traffic in major cities?
#WorkFromHome#FuelSaving#ITSector#EnergySecurity#PuneIT 🚗⛽💻📊
As PM Modi suggested Work From Home in his recent speech to help conserve fuel and reduce pressure during the energy crisis, the Central Government should immediately issue an official notification to companies to allow employees to work from home wherever possible.
Simply advising people is not enough, because employees do not have the authority to decide WFH policies — companies do.
A clear directive is needed to make this effective.

📢 Advisory for Tech Leads, Managers, HR & Leadership
(From Forum for IT Employees)
Being in a leadership role is not just about delivery — it’s about responsibility towards your team’s safety, dignity, and rights.
If any team member raises concerns related to verbal, physical, sexual, or workplace harassment, DO NOT ignore it.
👉 Follow these steps responsibly:
🔹 1. Acknowledge & Document
•Conduct an official meeting with the employee
•Record Minutes of Meeting (MoM) clearly
•Share the documented details with the employee for transparency
🔹 2. Escalate Internally
•Prepare a formal report
•Share it with senior management
•Ensure the concern is officially registered
🔹 3. Involve Internal Committees
•Report the issue to the Internal Committee (IC) / POSH body
•Ensure proper investigation and timely action
🔹 4. Escalate Further if Needed
•If no action is taken, escalate to higher authorities within the organization
•Keep documentation of every step
🔹 5. Support External Escalation (If Required)
If the issue still remains unresolved:
•Support the employee in approaching:
•Labour Office
•Local Police Station
•Mahila Aayog
•Employee forums / external bodies
⚠️ Important Reminder:
Silence or inaction is not neutrality — it can make you equally accountable.
Leadership roles come with ethical and legal responsibility.
Choose to act. Choose to protect. Choose integrity.
🔥 Final Note
Be honest to your role.
Your actions can protect a career — or destroy trust forever.

On paper, the timelines may remain unchanged, but in reality, many people are not receiving LPG refills on time, and there’s uncertainty about when deliveries will actually arrive. Instead of repeatedly assuring that everything is normal, it would help to look closely at the situation across different states and cities. In places like Kerala, several restaurants in various cities are already affected and even forced to shut down due to supply issues. Acknowledging these ground-level challenges is just as important as official statements.
Generation Z is often dismissed as lazy, entitled, unambitious. But perhaps their behaviour is a revolt against a culture that turns every moment into labour and all of life into a performance.

Kamakshi Devi ♥️
After his darshan of Devi Bhramaramba at Srisailam, Shankaracharya continued his travels, eventually reaching Kanchipuram, one of the holiest places dedicated to Devi Kamakshi ("the goddess with loving eyes").
At that time, Kamakshi Devi was worshiped with very high Tantric traditions, kept secret even from many temple priests. Only true sadhakas were allowed to approach her closely.
Shankara wanted to have darshan of Kamakshi Devi in her full, original form, as Rajrajeshwari, the Empress of all worlds.
He sat down in front of the temple and performed intense sadhana, reciting hymns, meditating, offering his very breath to Her.
Days passed.
Weeks passed.
No external darshan yet.
Only visions in dreams.
But Shankara knew better than to accept dreams as true darshan. He wanted direct sakshatkara (actual physical vision).
Finally, one evening, a little girl around five years old, very beautiful, with deep black eyes and a mischievous smile, came near him while he was doing japa.
She giggled and playfully kicked his kamandalu (water pot) and said:
"O sadhu! Why are you sitting like a fool here? Do you think Devi comes to lazy people who just sit and wait? You should go and search for Her! She’s not someone to be caught by mere waiting!"
Shankara immediately knew, this was not an ordinary child.
He smiled, stood up with deep humility, and followed the little girl. She ran through the streets of Kanchipuram, laughing and looking back at him, making sure he followed.
She finally disappeared into the inner sanctum of the Kamakshi Temple.
When Shankaracharya entered the temple, he saw Devi Kamakshi seated on her golden throne, not as an idol, but alive, breathing, radiating light.
She was exactly the little girl but now in her full, glorious, Queenly form, holding sugarcane bow, flower arrows, pasha (noose), ankusha (goad), wearing red silk, decked in countless jewels, her eyes dripping with compassion and fierce power at the same time.
Seeing Her, Shankaracharya fell flat, his ego completely shattered, and tears flowed endlessly.
Devi spoke:
"You desired My darshan? Here I am. But know this, you must never forget:
I am not only the beautiful. I am also the terrible.
I am not only the mother. I am also the power that tests, destroys, and recreates.
Worship Me in all forms, even those that terrify you. Only then you shall realize the Truth."
Then Devi gave him an extremely secret mantra and vision that linked Advaita (Oneness) and Sri Vidya (worship of Devi as Supreme Mother) together.
It is after this event that Shankaracharya formalized the Panchayatana Puja system, where Shiva, Devi, Vishnu, Surya, and Ganesha are worshiped together, but the Devi is subtly considered the source of all.
And it is said that Kamakshi Devi Herself gave him the inner permission to reveal the Soundarya Lahari to the world (which till then, only great siddhas knew)
Devi Kamakshi really appeared in the form of a playful child.
Shankara never treated dream visions as final. Only direct darshan mattered.
His knowledge of Sri Vidya came directly from Devi herself, not from any human guru.
