A friend got a message from @IndiGo6E saying their flight for tomorrow has been cancelled, even though they did a web check-in this evening.

Out of curiosity, I checked the IndiGo site and found that tickets are still open on the same route ... and just look at the fares.

Those who know Shri @RamMNK working style are fully assured that he will handle the IndiGo incident firmly, fairly, and strictly in the interest of passengers. I have complete faith in his leadership.

It must also be clearly stated that the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) immediately took cognizance of the matter and began monitoring the incident at every level. FDTL guidelines are being examined thoroughly, and IndiGo has been brought under direct scrutiny. Accountability is being fixed where it truly belongs.

@republic @arnabofficial, I want to say one thing, making hasty accusations on national television, speculating about phone calls, and trying to pin blame on a Union Minister without verified facts is irresponsible journalism. A Union Minister can be in official high-level meetings; that does not make him guilty or negligent.

This issue arose due to lapses on the part of IndiGo, not because of any delay or failure from the Ministry. Targeting @RamMNK —one of the youngest and most capable Union Ministers without evidence is unjustified and unfair. I request you to Focus on the real issue with proper facts

The FDTL orders issued by the DGCA have been placed in abeyance with immediate effect for now to stabilise operations and prioritise relief for affected passengers.

Airlines have been directed to provide timely and accurate updates to all passengers and ensure automatic refunds for cancelled flights and arrange hotel accommodation for those stranded due to prolonged delays with priority assistance for senior citizens and differently abled.

A high-level inquiry has also been instituted into the ongoing disruptions caused by the delays and cancellations of IndiGo flights. Accountability will be fixed and measures will be taken to prevent future disruptions.

Passenger comfort and safety continue to remain the highest priority of the Government.
