Lockdown taught me - I don't have time 4 people who are full of shit. Post lockdown I've realised we're all full of it😼 Now I'm just trying to keep it together
A man visiting a circus noticed that the huge elephants were held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. No chains. No cages. Just a thin rope.
Curious, he asked the trainer why the elephants didn’t just pull free.
The trainer explained:
“When they were very young, we used the same size rope. At that age they tried to break free but couldn’t. They learned that the rope was stronger than they were. They never tried again.”
The elephants grew into giants. The rope stayed the same. But they never tested it.
Sometimes the only thing holding you back is a belief you formed when you were smaller than you are now.
These towers weren’t just built for birds—they were designed to collect pigeon droppings, once more valuable than gold as a powerful natural fertilizer.
Olivia was paralyzed after a fall as a pup and was surrendered to the vet.
These beautiful souls adopted her and gave her a forever home. She loves the beach just like every good pupper does.
My favorite capture of the night: The moment the moon's shadow split the sunset in half, leaving a diamond ring in the sky and a breathtaking view. I call it "Shadows on the Balearic Sea".
I'll have prints available for this one linked in my bio for a few days only.
If drivers fail this test in Sweden, they will not get a license.
The test is called skid pan training, known as halkbana in Sweden, which is a mandatory slippery-road control exam that drivers must pass to secure a license.
During the exam, drivers must navigate specially treated tracks coated in water or oil to simulate real-world conditions like black ice and heavy snow packs. Instructors purposely force the vehicle into sudden spins or slides, requiring the student to successfully steer out of danger and regain complete control of the car. The training also teaches drivers exactly how speed, vehicle weight, and braking distance change when driving on zero-traction surfaces.
Scandinavian governments mandate this hands-on test because standard road exams on dry asphalt do not prepare drivers for the severe, unpredictable winters of northern Europe. Failing to demonstrate proper vehicle recovery techniques or showing reckless behavior on the track results in an automatic failure.
