@bpellerin@DavidHillWard3 The fact is that many if not most of Mr. Devine's colleagues on Council find him difficult to work with. As a voter in Ward 9 I want a representative who can get things done and that means working w colleagues. @AnnaIeloTal
In regard to the Ottawa municipal election, I endorse and will vote for Anna Ielo-Tal in Ward 9. @AnnaIeloTal
I am withholding my vote and endorsement for mayor because none of the candidates present an option that I find of any real value.
I will publish a short video explaining my choice for Ward 9 out of the three candidates. I will not write that up because people tend to focus on what I think and skip over why I think it.
I will not publish any further explanation in regard to my abstention from casting a vote for mayor. I cannot publish the video before advance voting tomorrow. It will have to be after that.
It is disingenuous for @DevineSean to claim victimhood of 'an organized push from outside to unseat him', while Jeff Leiper's shadow party is doing precisely that for him
During an election, people will challenge your position/ record. That's the point

@AnnaIeloTal@TimTierney This is such great content.
Anna would be such a great addition to #ottcity council.
Ward 9 would actually be back at the table- not playing politics.
A great day at the doors with Councillor @TimTierney
Lots of door knocking, great conversations, and even a few tips from a seasoned pro!
Thanks, Tim, for your time, your support, and words of wisdom!
Happy Friday and Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

What are slogan signs? Why am I putting them up?
You may have spotted them along Hunt Club, Prince of Wales, Merivale, Woodroffe and Knoxdale.
They say things like:
“Hey Hydro, keep the lights on!”
“Respect taxpayers. Demand accountability.”
“Reliable transit. Keep cars moving.”
These signs aren’t about creating controversy. They reflect the issues and comments I’ve heard firsthand from residents at the doors across Ward 9.
Power outages. Affordability. Accountability. Transit. Traffic. Public Consultation. These are everyday issues residents are talking to me about, so I’m bringing those conversations out into the open.
This is a campaign, and I’m proud of the work my team and I have done. We’ve knocked on doors, listened to residents and brought their concerns forward.
Ward 9 residents are asking for change. I’m listening, and I’m bringing their voices forward.
Keep an eye out for more of my messaging- “Slogan Signs”

Dumb Dumb @DevineSean is all talk and no action. With raising taxes and 15min cities without the infra. And a proven failed bikeshare program that will cost 100s of millions to the tax payer over the years and not even serve the ward. Hes a colossal failure for the ward
In '23 floods Dumb Dumb @DevineSean asked for a report from the city. This yr on july1st flood, and 2 in Aug. He asked for another study report. He never reported on the first report. Surely after 3 yrs its done. His lack of leadership, transparency and laziness towards his ward
MY 3-STEP PLATFORM: INFRASTRUCTURE - ROAD & TRAFFIC SAFETY
Road safety is about more than lowering speed limits or installing another temporary device. This policy proposes a practical sequence for maintaining roads, correcting specific hazards, protecting pedestrians and keeping traffic moving safely.
1️⃣ Complete urgent repairs
Before the next construction season, address known potholes and failed patches, refresh pavement markings on major roads and school approaches, inspect Vaan Drive from Coleway to Bie, review the Greenbank plaza access, and conduct a multi-day traffic count on Highwood Drive.
2️⃣ Publish Ward 9’s road-condition priorities
Create a ranked, costed and publicly accessible list of Ward 9 roads and hazard locations. Streets would be prioritized according to condition and safety risk, including neighbourhood-unserviced roads, with annual reporting on whether each project is funded, tendered, completed or delayed.
3️⃣ Fix the specific hazard
Match the solution to the location: school-yard protection and plaza access on Greenbank, pedestrian space and better data on Highwood, intersection improvements at Viewmount and Merivale, and safer turning movements around Woodroffe, Vaan, Pineland and Slack.
4️⃣ Establish a Merivale corridor program
Publish a clear snapshot of Merivale’s congestion points, intersection conditions, planned capital work and proposed development. Transportation reviews would consider cumulative corridor impacts rather than examining each development application in isolation.
5️⃣ Improve access to Merivale Gardens
Begin a focused study of the Woodroffe, Slack, Vaan and Pineland access points, including turning movements, roadway design, sightlines, markings, signal timing, enforcement needs and posted-speed conditions. The policy also proposes a site meeting with residents and City staff in the first 90 days.
6️⃣ Require evidence before adding traffic-calming devices
Before installing a speed bump, flex-post installation or posted-speed reduction, review collision history, operating speeds, emergency-route impacts and possible maintenance or design alternatives. Short traffic counts would not be treated as sufficient evidence on streets where conditions vary by day or time.
7️⃣ Protect school approaches and maintain unserviced roads
Prioritize sidewalks or equivalent pedestrian space, crossings, lighting, winter maintenance, culverts and roadside drainage. Road-safety work would be funded first through existing capital and program funding, with additional levies considered only after the available funding and project list are made public.
The guiding principle: maintain and mark roads, address identifiable hazards, keep traffic moving safely, and direct public funding to work with measurable community impact.

Dumb Dumb @devinesean is inspired by @shawnmenard1 for " doing what is right" shawn took a bribe for 300k from a developer and was caught. Charged with election fraud and was caught. Had an affair with his colleague and was caught by his wife. These are inspiring to @DevineSean
