It's here! My novel all about change and transition, friendships, the future, and the ocean is out in the world today! So proud of #BeforeTheBeginning - thank you @gemma_cooper @Suzanne_OS and everyone at @HachetteAus who shaped this book with me. Places to buy below!
Schoolies week: that strange in-between time when teenagers move from school into the adult world. It's a week when anything is possible, and everything can change.
#BeforetheBeginning by @AnnaLauraMorgan is out now! https://t.co/sAc7rhzpKS
@maddyoby No competition between apocalypses, they are all stressful in different ways!! Thank you, we are hoping to go up boxing day if things look better by then. Hope you find some ways to celebrate with family this week even if it all looks different to plans โค๏ธ
@maddyoby Glad you're home safe and I'm sorry your plans got ruined in such a dramatic way! Giving me bushfire escape flashbacks (we just cancelled our NSW Christmas ๐)
Some incredible #YAfiction on the @wordsnnerds_pod in 2020 #loveozya
YA always crosses over into adult fiction/ middle grade. But here is a cracking list ๐๐๐
@CharlieArchbold @ShivaunPlozza @danielle_binks
@michaeljpryor As a reader, 3 stars = liked it, didn't love it. As a writer, 3 stars = they hated it, my book is awful, I should probably never write again (I recognise this rating system has flaws!)
Coming up tomorrow on the pod ๐๐๐
๐ This gem of a human @jeremylachlan
๐ The lovely @AnnaLauraMorgan with the super duper @willkostakis
๐ The awesome @MoniqueMulligan
@katemildenhall Oh thank you, Kate! I've heard from quite a few people who were similarly stressed-out teens - seems there were a lot of us out there! X
The first time I ever saw my name in print was a letter to the editor in The Age - so it feels very cool to have this piece in the weekend paper. You can read about my angsty over-achieving teenage life and why I wrote my second book, if you like โคต๏ธ
