AFAIK, the term ‘recognized foreign military’ has not been defined. So we don’t know which countries we would be getting these immigrants from.

That institutional flip did not happen by accident.

It happened because the Muslim Brotherhood’s own strategic plan - laid out in the 1991 document known as “The Project” - explicitly called for using the Palestinian cause as the perfect temporary rallying point.

The Brotherhood understood that the Palestinian issue was the one banner under which radical leftists, Marxists, anti-Western academics, and Islamic supremacists could unite without resolving their deeper contradictions.

A Palestinian-majority country ended its war with Israel without demanding another state between the river and the sea.

In the White House, Yitzhak Rabin and King Hussein signed the Washington Declaration, terminating the state of belligerency that had existed since 1948. A full peace treaty followed three months later.

The territory in question had been called Judea and Samaria for 3,000 years. “West Bank” was a name Jordan introduced after conquering it in the 1948 war of aggression. Jordan then annexed the area and granted citizenship to its Arab residents for 19 years. That annexation was recognized by almost no one. Land taken by pure aggression does not create legal title.

In 1988, King Hussein formally renounced Jordan’s claims. In 1994, he settled the bilateral conflict with Israel: recognized borders, water-sharing, security cooperation, and Israeli acknowledgment of Jordan’s role at the Muslim holy sites in Jerusalem.

The peace has remained cold. Jordanian public opinion stays deeply hostile. Yet the treaty has held. In recent years Jordan has even helped intercept Iranian missiles and drones aimed at Israel.

For 32 years, peace has held; a country with a Palestinian majority chose to end its own war with Israel without making a second state west of the Jordan the price of peace. That fact still sits uncomfortably with many of the narratives that came afterward.

There is a VERY BIG difference between allies fighting together against a common enemy and inviting pre-trained (standards?) possible enemies into your own army.

Without a valid work permit or another legal basis to remain, many will eventually have to leave Canada under immigration rules.

Many of the protesters appear to be Indian nationals.

A study permit has never been a guarantee of a work permit or permanent residency. Canada has the right to set and enforce its immigration rules.

Ever noticed that historically whenever there is a "two state solution", with a Jewish state and an "Palestinian" Arab state, it's not good enough for the "Palestinians"?
The Palestinians now want to make a second Arab Palestinian state in a large part of the area that was designated (and actually became) a Jewish State. And ignorant western countries and the corrupt UN are going along with it.
And if that second Arab Palestinian state ever becomes a reality, you can be sure that it too will not be enough. What they really want is no Jewish state, and no Jews!
