We who created the Chinese New Year reserve the right for the naming! You can’t change “English” to “Globalish” as people all use it. We welcome people from all over the world to celebrate the festival but Chinese New Year is Chinese New Year. #HappyChineseNewYear#Chunjie
@britishmuseum Chinese new year is Chinese new year. Why we need to change name of the festival which originated in China because others adopted and celebrate it? Bullshit. Now we urged everyone to change “English” to “Globalish” because people all speak it! 😛😛
For now, Chinese new year is adopted by many countries and has been customized by their own culture. For example, it is the year of rabbit in China but year of cat in Vietnamese. So it’s welcomed to called it Vietnamese Chinese-New-Year instead of rename it to a so called “lunar”

What is inclusion and respect? Inclusion is people over the world is using the English but still call it English. Inclusion is people who adopted English and vitalize it by giving their own ways by naming it with prefix for example “American English”. This is inclusion.
@CcEva_ We who created this festival reserve the right for how to name it! You can’t change “English” to “Globalish” as people all around the world use it. Christmas is the “Christmas” due to the soul of Christ. You can not rename it to “Godmas” just because others also celebrate it!
