@AnglianWater please can someone help me? Our bills have tripled since moving into your area, but our water use has gone down. We have reported months ago but no one has contacted. Our bills are currently ridiculously high for no clear reason
“Somerset Council has recognised that taking a positive and supportive approach to home education makes for better relations with home educators and better outcomes for home-educated children.” https://t.co/Mi8VrZFm8J

A new amendment has been proposed to be included within the Children's Wellbeing and Schools Bill. This is a serious threat to home education as a lawful and immediate choice and why we keep campaigning about the bill to the protect the rights of home educators.
The CWSB says "School is considered a protective environment for most children.” Yet @ChildrenSociety household survey 2025 “highlights that school is the area of life where children and young people most commonly feel unhappy."
“Home education is another school choice, and it holds equal weight in law … so why are they not given equal access to exams when they’re the key marker for moving forward?” Joanna Merritt

Today’s LCSP review: Sara Sharif’s murder was committed by her father and not prevented due to serious LA safeguarding errors. Home education was not to blame. Yet the same overstretched LAs will now oversee new home-ed registers. Will this prevent harm or cause more errors?
"Parental Rights Under Threat.

The Children's Bill includes sweeping powers which we have warned are dangerous for children.
Neither children nor families consulted on consistent identifier or the powers to share data without consent on broad grounds.
