@NewStatesman IMO the film was like a dreadful b movie crossed with midsummer murders and rosemary & thyme. Most puzzling was why top drawer actors agreed to do it.
A tone deaf response from Labour spokespeople.
We must listen to and heed the message voters have delivered and we must respond to it by changing the lives of working class people for the better with polices that transform the economic situation.
If we do not improve the situation that millions of working class people find themselves in after 14 yrs of austerity, we will be rolling the red carpet out to Reform at the next GE.
I urge the Labour leadership to now truly reflect and change course. If they do not, I genuinely fear the country will face the consequences of a far right government in four years’ time.
Runcorn is a warning we can’t ignore. Voters want change - and if we don’t offer it with bold, hopeful policies that rebuild trust, the far right will.
If we don’t step up now, the alternative won’t be more of the same - it’ll be an extreme right-wing government.
@vicderbyshire Dogs are the best and you are imo one of the best reporters and interviewers in the business keep on probing highlighting and not giving up getting those answers the people deserve
There are 54+ MPs wanting to legalise medically assisted suicide for terminally ill AND disabled people
And most of the big pro campaigning orgs want this too
But many disabled people don't want this & our voices are rarely heard. That's why I made this:

The Hillsborough families, the people of Liverpool and the wider North West have made the country rethink its approach to justice.
What a debt we all owe them. 🙏🏻
