Greetings of the Season! Oh my goodness, what a night! Thank you, thank you, thank you for coming out AGAIN & sharing yet another spectacular performance. A tad emotional to see this lot share the stage together #Nativity#StrongerTogether#scroogeachristmascarol#BahHumbug
CONGRATULATIONS to all our swimmers that represented the club in the 2022 Crusader League in Wrexham and Widnes.
We were surprised at training tonight by League Secretary Dave Mears who attended to present the club with the 2022 League Title.
WELL DONE SWIMMERS 🎉🎉🎉
Hawks, year four artists, spent time this morning creating some beautiful printed artwork inspired by our forest area and kirtchen garden space. @CAcademiesTrust#primaryart#arteducation#ks2art
Beautiful botanical artwork by year one artists, using simple printing tools (corks, earbuds & card) to create wonderful patterned flowers. @CAcademiesTrust#primaryart#arteducation#ks1art
Ok. So my youngest started the day with 6 followers on his woodwork Instagram account and has gone to bed with 16,000. He’s a little worried about fulfilling orders! Thank you kind people. This will have changed his life. (And it has certainly infuriated his older sister) 🙏🏼
Wonderful artwork created by year 1, as part of their ‘Our Local Life’ topic. Children painted the River Dee, printed the Roman Walls and completed an observational drawing of the Eastgate Clock. And the branches are all local, collected after Storm Eunice! @CAcademiesTrust
Continuing with their Explorers theme, Eagles examined the artwork of Norman Ackroyd, contemplating what it would feel like to discover the remote lands depicted in his artwork. Considering composition, viewfinders were used to create multiple charcoal studies of the same image.
Kestrels have learnt about Chiaroscuro. Using M.C.Escher’s‘Three Spheres II’as inspiration, they created their own spheres, experimenting with pencils, charcoal and pastels to produce light/dark areas. The final task was to make a dramatic, wintry tree scene. @CAcademiesTrust
@timbudgen@PennyNevilleLee Yes it is! 😍 Thank you for sharing. I shall be returning to look through this thread - I’m sure they’ll lots of wonderful work! 😊
KS1 have been constructing colourful collage castles, inspired by Paul Klee’s ‘Castle and Sun.’ The children discussed whether it was realistic or abstract (or a bit of both!) and spent time spotting all the geometric shapes. @CAcademiesTrust#primaryart#primarysketchbooks
If any of you are at Tatton today look out for Mill View's garden. Miss Gaunt and Mrs Kemp are there today enjoying talking about the garden with Arit @diamondhill2012 @RHSSchools
