@StickyKeef @JoshEakle If US producers could have supplied these items cheaper, we wouldn't be importing them in the first place. The entire reason we buy things from other countries is because we CANNOT produce them in sufficient quantity or at low enough cost.

- Receives 10s of billions in gov't funding (more gov't contract $ than anyone else, I believe)

2- Stated goal of colonizing Mars - who governs that colony?

3- Are we behind in space defense due to privatizing?

In theory that could work, but it would greatly hinge on how specific and how well enforced the regulations are. It's still going to be passed on to consumers though - probably at greater than cost.

I have lineage in Ireland for many generations but my Irish line has been in America for 150ish years - Am I Native Irish?
