No. TX didn’t support students w/special needs. No other program in education is more underfunded in TX than Special Education. TEA says Special Education deficit is $2.3 Billion each year. It’s irresponsible to divert $ to private schools when we don’t fund our public schools.

💡 Teachers
Starting teacher salary will be $61,000
-Years 1-7: 2% General Pay Increase
-Years 8-14: 3% General Pay Increase
-Years 15+: 4.5% General Pay Increase

- 2% General Pay Increase
☀️Administrative Support, Instructional Support, and Auxiliary Staff
- Minimum starting salary will increase to $15.00 per hour, with equity adjustments applied to all staff in the pay scale
- 1% raise
✅Retention Stipend
$4,200 returning Teachers, Librarians, Nurses, and Counselors
$2,000 returning Full-time employees (excluding full-time teachers, nurses, counselors, and librarians)
$1,000 returning Part-time employee who worked at least 19 hours per week
