“We must work harder to build mutual respect, an attitude of forbearance, w/ tolerance one for another regardless of the doctrines & philosophies which we may espouse. Concerning these you & I may disagree. But we can do so with respect & civility” (T.of Gordon B. Hinckley [1997
@SenJohnCurtis I don’t agree with you, Sen. Curtis. It was a bad decision to start this w/o any plan & stopping right now, pulling back, giving more effort to negotiations, will save lives.
The discussion isn’t did he have a legal right? The issue to decide-was it a good decision. It was not.
@SenJohnCurtis@RepBurgessOwens So focusing on the job at had, a sen. from OK -a mixed martial arts fighter, (yes the one who tried to mix it up with teamster pres. O’Brien ) is tapped to lead DHS.
Do you really think he has the ability to ratchet down the violence? & is the former plumber at all qualified?
So the new guy tapped to run DHS is a former plumber/mixed martial arts fighter. (& the only senator with the distinction of attempting to start a physical altercation with another senator)
@DHSgov I have watched the video several times in slow motion, for several seconds before, & as the officer is drawing his weapon, aims & begins, firing. From what I have seen, no, she did not drive into the officer, & at any point, the 2 officers clearly could have backed away/stop lying
@GovCox@POTUS The current US regime acts w/ impunity regarding the rule of law & has been conducting a nonstop war on the Courts. This action in Venezuela violates international law, & has shut down the focus on #EpsteinFiles What are the limits of your loyalty? Trump is in the files.
@CoryBooker@JohnFugelsang Jesus was absolutely a liberal. If a man asks you for your coat, give him your cloak also” …if he asked you to go a mile with him, you go twain.. “ give to him liberally that seeketh….. turn him not away”
Contempt charges maybe ? This does not qualify as “releasing”…Half the docs still held past deadline -apparently haven’t had time to purge someone’s name from them.
@Suzierizzo1 According to the latest census, Bureau records - The official poverty measure rate was 10.6 %, and about 35.9 million people in the U.S. lived below the poverty threshold in 2024.
It is not a moral failure to be poor.
It is a moral failure to not help others if we can
@RpsAgainstTrump John, would you be a VP to Amy Klobuchar ? The 32 %+ disenfranchised independent voters can hold the key to saving our country from the extremism on both sides. But it will take a many of us working together… pls.
