COMMUNICATION

Suite à la rupture des relations diplomatiques avec la Belgique, décidée le 17 mars 2025, le Ministère des Affaires Étrangères et de la Coopération Internationale souhaite porter à la connaissance du public les points suivants :

🔹 L’Ambassade du Rwanda à Bruxelles a fermé ses portes et n'assurera plus de services consulaires sur le territoire belge.

🔹 Les services consulaires seront assurés par l’Ambassade du Rwanda aux Pays-Bas, à La Haye (📧 [email protected] | 📞 [phone]).

🔹 La rupture des relations diplomatiques n'affecte en rien les citoyens belges résidant au Rwanda ou souhaitant visiter notre pays.

🔹 La libre circulation des voyageurs et des professionnels se poursuit normalement. Les ressortissants belges continueront d’obtenir un visa à l’arrivée, sans frais de visa pour un séjour de 30 jours, conformément au régime de visa en vigueur.

MEDEDELING

Naar aanleiding van de verbreking van de diplomatieke relaties met België, besloten op 17 maart 2025, wenst het Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken en Internationale Samenwerking het publiek op de hoogte te brengen van het volgende:

🔹 De Ambassade van Rwanda in Brussel heeft haar deuren gesloten en zal geen consulaire diensten meer verlenen op Belgisch grondgebied.

🔹 Consulaire diensten zullen worden verzorgd door de Ambassade van Rwanda in Nederland, in Den Haag ([email protected] | [phone]).

🔹 De verbreking van de diplomatieke relaties heeft op geen enkele wijze invloed op Belgische burgers die in Rwanda wonen of het land willen bezoeken.

🔹 De vrije beweging van reizigers en professionals blijft ongewijzigd. Belgische reizigers kunnen bij aankomst nog steeds een visum verkrijgen, zonder visumkosten voor een verblijf van 30 dagen, overeenkomstig met het geldende visumbeleid.

🔴 In this insightful interview, Bojana Coulibaly sheds light on the true origins of #M23, arguing that it was not born in a vacuum, but as a result of unchecked anti-Tutsi genocide ideology and the DRC’s failure to protect its people from violent and destructive militias.

💥 The genocidaires, who fled to Zaire after committing the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, brought weapons and propagated the Bantu vs. Nilotic ideology—leading to the mass killing of Tutsi and Banyamulenge communities.

❌ The focus on M23 obscures the bigger picture—the hundreds of negative forces operating in DRC with total impunity and the long-standing governance failures that allowed these groups to thrive.

🔻 MONUSCO, instead of fulfilling its mission to protect civilians and bring peace, has fallen short, doing the very opposite.
