You know, looking at Twitter tonight… I can’t help but feel this social media site has outlived any value to society. The moderation strategy has failed, to the point where I'm not sure whether it can be salvaged tbh. 🧵
These last couple of days have shown Twitter at its worst. It needs very, very stringent regulation. If it's so badly run it can't fulfil basic moderation requirements, it shouldn't be operating at all. /end
Delighted to join @Bionow's Pharma Manufacturing conference today - great speakers, good connections, & it was a privilege to join a panel of experts to talk about #21stCenturyWorkforce
We are ready for a jam packed morning here in Darlington at our sold out Pharma Manufacturing conference! Thanks to our sponsors @BouyguesESUK @TeesValleyCA#PharmaMan23
Very proud to be a small part of the inaugural #NWApprenticeshipAwards this evening. Great event & very worthy finalists and winners. Can we do it again next year please!
The British Crown legally owns 6.6 billion acres of land across the world. That is a sixth of the earth's surface.
Charles is now the world's largest landowner, but I am sure that has nothing to do with colonialism...
Someone asked me today how much carers allowance is I replied £69.70..."a day well that's not too bad" they replied, no I said that's for a week, they thought I was joking, it's no joke , it's appalling.
I get called to patients who are “combative, non-compliant, difficult, nonverbal.” There is almost always a reason. I sit in that middle space between procedure & person, as a presence, & I have found that if our separation is a wound, it is grace that mends us in meeting there.
Hi @ConorMcGinn, BTECs are good qualifications based on well balanced curricula & effective assessment methods. They enhance social mobility & ensure STEM careers are accessible based on talent & ability. Please do your bit to protect them.
44% of white working-class students and 37% of black students enter uni with only BTEC qualifications. Cutting these will have a huge impact on social mobility and our economy. Email your MP now and ask them to attend the #ProtectStudentChoice parliamentary debate 18.07.22 4:30pm

@martinimarie A diagnosis doesn't change who they are or how much you love them. It does make it easier to access support. Give yourself time to process your own feelings and emotions. It will be ok.
