It has come to our attention that some political aspirants are unlawfully using the title Engineer on their campaign posters and related materials, thereby misleading the public and violating the provisions of the Engineers Registration Act, Cap 299.

The title Engineer is a legally protected professional designation in Uganda and can only be used by persons duly registered with @ERBUganda

Any unauthorized use constitutes a criminal offense under the law. The Board has officially communicated this concern to the Electoral Commission and urged
them to take appropriate action to stop this malpractice.

Only Candidates whose registration status has been verified by ERB may use the title Eng. Or Engineer in any official or public
communication.
