2nd, a paper on a new LC-MS/MS method to quantify cyclic di-nucleotides in vivo by @annibal_ms, Roberto and Eugene. Andrea characterized MS behavior of 4 biologically relevant CDNs (c-di-AMP, c-di-GMP, 3′3′ cGAMP, 2′3′ cGAMP) and quantified CDNs in E.coli #bacteria & #killifish.
They then quantified 2′3′ #cGAMP in killifish. As control they used a viable #cGAS knock-out (cGAS−/−) fish line, generated by Eugene and Roberto. As expected, the 2′3′ cGAMP peak was completely absent in the knock-out line. Paper available here: https://t.co/jvMjp9eeNo
