Media PR and ardent appreciator of Agatha Christie. Until recently was Anne Wheeler. Confusing stuff.

Closing down now. Please follow @MadameScott instead. If you want to, that is... Thank you and goodbye.

Gordon Brown says #bigotgate was "a misunderstanding". How??!

[Anne Scott @AnnieWheeler]

@sneaky1 Nah... I think it's winning.

[Channel 4 News @Channel4News]

Brown "I have apologised, I am mortified by what has happened. It has been a chance for me to say sorry and say sometimes you do mistakes"

[Anne Scott @AnnieWheeler]

@sneaky1 Thinking MadameScott. Too much?

[Anne Scott @AnnieWheeler]

Right. I'm off. Been rubbish on Twitter and am starting over. New name deserves new Twitter birth in manner of phoenix/ashes, etc.

[David Mitchell @RealDMitchell]

Who do you blame most for the Labour Party's woes, Gordon Brown or Sue? I blame Sue. Stupid Sue.

[Anne Scott @AnnieWheeler]

Ropey today - on cusp of illness and absolutely cannot be ill. Any suggestions??

[Anne Scott @AnnieWheeler]

@missalissab Yes please to wedding dress and whore boots in manner of Ruth in Hollyoaks. Would be disappointed if you didn't...

[Anne Scott @AnnieWheeler]

Thank you thank you thank you @missalissab Yay!!! Hooray hooray hooray! Much much love - but not THAT way...

[Anne Scott @AnnieWheeler]

@missalissab I'm still here, flying the flag for stiff upper lips everywhere.

[Anne Scott @AnnieWheeler]

@missalissab PS - snowing now. Sheepish.

[Anne Scott @AnnieWheeler]

@missalissab Think it's all a conspiracy - no snow anywhere, just big practical joke on Londoners using old pics from Feb...

[Anne Scott @AnnieWheeler]

The BBC promised me a "major snow event" and all I got was this lousy dusting.

[Anne Scott @AnnieWheeler]

@sneaky1 But apparently there's a national shortage this year! I've got The Fear - don't want to miss all the good 'uns....

[Anne Scott @AnnieWheeler]

Is 6th December too early for Christmas tree purchase?

[Anne Scott @AnnieWheeler]

@missalissab Cause for celebration indeed!

[Anne Scott @AnnieWheeler]

Still raging quietly that NOT ONE person in the ENTIRE OFFICE today even acknowledged the 11am silence.

[Anne Scott @AnnieWheeler]

Just been told that I'm "a natural" at my first yoga class. Am now, of course, a total convert. Women are so fickle...

[Anne Scott @AnnieWheeler]

I find, in my absence, I have acquired quite the porn following. Lucky old me. Hello ladies!
