St. Paul Police Chief Axel Henry filed a lawsuit on September 23, 2026, against Mayor Kaohly Her and the city, alleging months of sexual harassment including unwanted thigh touching during a budget meeting, penis-related comments, and her referring to herself as a “MILF.”

This is DISGUSTING! No man or woman should have to deal with this!

The suit also claims city retaliation against Henry for reporting the behavior.

Apparently, a “coincidental” prior internal investigation concluded Her engaged in “offensive and inappropriate behavior” but did not substantiate sexual harassment or retaliation claims.

The press's core protection is the right to communicate information once it has been obtained, not a right to collect it from the government.

Pell v. Procunier (1974) and related cases established that the press has no constitutional right to information or locations not available to the public generally.
Zemel v. Rusk (1965) stated that the right to speak and publish does not carry with it an unrestrained right to gather information, and that entry into the White House is not a First Amendment right.

Well this is utterly shocking and unacceptable. Kim Pleticha, @MNCourts Director of Public Affairs, publicly slandered and maligned Crime Watch last week during a recorded session of the Judicial Council while discussing planned updates to their social media policies.

Pleticha said Crime Watch is "a biased channel designed solely to be an echo chamber of negativity." Also adding, "We are not OK with really anything they are posting."

Pleticha led into this defamatory characterization of Crime Watch in a section of the video addressing "lies and misinformation" on social media.

Psst Kim, if you perceive as negative public safety watchdog Crime Watch's content documenting @mncourts massive public safety and fiduciary failures, that sounds like a YOU problem, and perhaps it's time for all of you to look in the mirror and do the jobs we're paying you to do.
