The Aurora Borealis over this lighthouse is something I’ve dreamed of for over three years. The location makes it almost impossible to shoot lights over as conditions need to be perfect given it’s east southeast orientation on Lake Michigan. With the town of Sturgeon Bay sitting directly beside it, light pollution fills this scene normally.
It’s still hard for me to believe that this was taken within the first minute of the substorm exploding and ripping pillars down the oval. Soon after there were lights overhead and south of me, flickering and dancing. I’ll share more images this week or next week at some point.
For now, I hope this is a beautiful starting point and you all enjoy it.
And whyyyy was Olivia not at the ceremony?! I get they’re backing off the romantic vibes, but even from a professional view you know she’d support him #LawAndOrderOC
