@mbontrager5 @Nuke_Finance @DivStockpile I dont wanna beat a dead horse but there are no fees on a fixed annuity. You know exactly how much interest you are getting, and for how long, contractually. If you want to argue their is an opportunity cost, that is fine. But there is an opportunity cost for everything.

@mbontrager5 @Nuke_Finance @DivStockpile there are no fees on fixed annuities. Technically there are no costs either. Do you not understand how fixed annuities work? Variable Annuities have large fees. Indexed Annuities sometimes have small fees. But most have zero fees.

@Nuke_Finance @DivStockpile @mbontrager5 right, there are no fee's on fixed annuities. However everything has a cost. If you have a fixed annuity paying you 5% per year, the only cost is opportunity cost. What could you have gotten if your money was somewhere else? There is a difference between fees and costs.
