The biggest African streaming platform is Boomplay, owned by an Asian, while we have people here who could decide to build a streaming platform for us and invest in it.

We are gradually moving into the digital era. I don't see any reason why big cats and multi-millionaires like Davido, WizKid, and others have not invested in any technology that would assist the African music industry.
Since Mr Eazi launched Zagadat Capital in 2021, the company has invested in tech companies such as the remittance-based lending company Paisa, Eden Life, African fintech Pawapay, and most recently, the South African basketball team Cape Town Tigers.
We're not implying that WizKid, Davido, and others aren't contributing significantly to the African music industry, but the simple truth is that they are limiting themselves and have failed to grasp the bigger picture.
While his influential colleagues like Don Jazzy, Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy still feel the need to rush to American labels for assistance in marketing their music, Eazi saw the broader vision and chose to invest in the African dream.
