Not sure about friendships but this definitely plays a role in marriages. Women who had sisters growing up tend to be more feminine and have that softness in them. On the other hand, those with only brothers tend to be more boy-ish and have more male energy. Not appealing.

No woman can truly ever handle a polygamous marriage. It's not in the fitrah. But Allah made you that way so you submit to Allah first and then to your husband. But to submit to the husband, you need a healthy relationship with the male authorities in your life (such as father).

For something to be haram, it needs to be very clear cut and in the Quran. Besides anal and during menses, husband and wife are free to do whatever pleases them both.
