I watched a video about a female grizzly who adapted to raising her cubs within 100 ft of humans. Experts surmise that she does this because male grizzlies will avoid humans (and male grizzlies are a threat to cubs). So women pick the bear, the bear picked humans and no one picked men. From April, women and their partners will be entitled to two weeks off after any pregnancy loss.
